Yeah the rooted hair is rough. Honestly brings the whole thing down a notch. Sculpted hair the way to go for this one.

It’s okay though because in a few years when Hot Toys is better at it, we’ll be seeing a Joker Artisan 2.0 EXTRA Fine Wool edition.

I doubt we’re getting a joker for a while. Their last one was around 2013. If inart made a 2.0, hot toys would definitely make another one. Give it take 4-5 years from now. Inart hasn’t even completed half their list so there’s no way they’re making a reissue.

For sure other joker variations are happening, hopefully the bank robber 2.0. But in terms of the normal purple coat Joker edition I don’t think we’re getting for a while. Unless the they pull a DX19 Bale Batman and give us a better version for no reason haha.

This is going to be fun for the next 2 years, watching people make comparisons, charts, redlined photos, on and on to justify the money they really don't have to spend but feel compelled to.

The best will be when this finally drops on Sideshow and everyone sees the price... and we get comps and charts and redlined photos as people try to justify the sculpted over the impossibly priced rooted...

Then, the best joke is yet to come in two years... HT Artisan Joker gets released and we get to see it all over again with comparisons and charts and redlined photos...

It’s actually funny how similar the two sculpts are if you overlap them with one another. The biggest difference being the HT version having a more wide eyed, relaxed brow expression, where’s INART went for the more furrowed brow look.

Something about the eyes on HT’s version creeps me out though and not in a good way. Probably from the PER eyes staring straight, which never looks good on any figure with them.

Overall though the facial structure between the two is actually almost identical.

There was already a Bank Robber 2.0.... How long have you been collecting?
