Bought the 66 batman and robin because i thought they would be better than the 3rd parties, 3rd party comes out better than the hot toys.

Well to be fair they already were putting out more Nolan trilogy stuff - we were just surprised they seemed to be focusing on TDKR. We wondered had they lost the rights to TDK or to Ledger's likeness rights specifically.

Yet said so much but showed so little. Let's face it if Inart hadn't of come around Hot toys wouldn't of bothered with any of this. Purely down to the demand and attention Inart grabbed that they did this.

Damn, I'm loving this sculpt.

I'm generally a collector who strongly prefers quality of quantity and constantly upgrades their figures to the best version on the market, be it with official or custom parts.
TDK Joker is a special case though, where there are so many incredible (and incredibly expensive) customs out there that I knew I would never reach the "best" version. So I thought I'd be satisfied with the rooted InArt as my Joker for years to come.

I'm loving this HT head sculpt though. The likeness and expression are great and give him a lot of presence. Proportion and clothing wise I see nothing here that I feel beats the InArt (we won't know until we have in-hand comparisons anyway), but that sculpt is something else. I guess toyanxiety it will be...

On the plus side, my hesitation to touch up the paint on my InArt to get closer to those incredibly customs out there has dropped substantially.

I have the sculpted InArt and thinking of getting the sculpted HT.

Head sculpts I think HT has better eyes/nose, and the hair definitely looks better. Paint and tailoring I think IA is more accurate. HT pants especially look weird.

Both are good figures IMO.
