Sideshow has so many people wrapped around their fingers but there are better options. I might use that code, thanks!
Kit definitely is the best option and you'll for sure be getting it around the time it releases in HK and won't have to wait 2-3 months for SS to catch up.

I wish that 1944 opening segment had been longer, or actually been the setting for the entire film. It felt like classic, over the top Indy, complete with the usual gags.

When it jumps forward to 1969 it feels depressing. Seventy year old Indy, now belonging in a museum himself, looking back to the past, while everyone else is looking to the future.

I'm only half an hour into the film, but it's not affecting my wish to own the DoD Hot Toys. I can still imagine a lot of life left in the figure.

Bridging the WWII collecting world, I bought DID's Spear of Destiny years ago to display with the Indy figures:

Over a decade later, it (or its copy) finally made an appearance in an Indiana Jones film as a MacGuffin, under one of it's alternate names, the Lance of Longinus (because it'd be confusing to have two 'of Destiny' artefacts).
I haven't seen the movie yet, but at least in theory the idea of Indy becoming this sad, lonely alcoholic in his old age actually feels a lot truer to the character to me than him living happily ever after with Marion, like we saw in the super sappy ending of Indy 4. So I'm actually looking forward to seeing that explored a bit.

Sideshow is usually the cheapest option for me so I’ll have to wait for them.

His price includes shipping and fees. That is the only reason it seems higher but really isn't of anything you'll probably be paying about the same as SS or less since they want to charge a good amount for shipping. Plus you can use the discount code for Kit by Cellar Toys which is (Cellartoys) it will give you 10% off.

The Cellartoys code is $10 off, not 10%. It'll also work on anything else too.

I only found out about them with the Bigbreda one in his Mars Joker review, and thought it only applied to the Joker figure. Kit said they were single use on anything and that there were others to find.

Googling quickly discovered another six $10 codes. (There was a Reddit page that had been sharing them).

Spoiler Spoiler:

Conclusion: the HT figure looks more inspiring than the actual adventure. The deluxe base is also more evocative than the scene it presents. The cliff is a lot more in scale than I imagined.

Yeah sorry that's my bad. Yeah it's pretty good to use but having codes for osk in hand is good use for future orders.

That's not quite what happens in that final balcony shot at the very end.

And I would have preferred "lost his mind" as a tribute to Shia's career trajectory rather than the outcome the movie lays out.

Interesting that the Indy/Marion set up pretty much mirrors the Han/Leia situation in TFA.

C’mon Hot Toys, give us a young Indy. After seeing the movie I may buy old man Indy, too. But I definitely need a young one as well.

Spoiler Spoiler:
It's him. From what I've heard is that he stays as our adventurer and the Hat will always be with him. Essentially ending his story rather then trying to pass the torch.

Feel sorry for the ppl who come into this thread that haven’t seen the movie yet and see/read stuff about it that aren’t hidden behind spoiler tags :lol I think often times we forget that not everyone sees the movie in the first couple days of opening and/or not everyone reads everything that’s been put on the internet about it prior to seeing the film

Oddly Sideshow has an RSVP page rather than an order page 🤔

Thanks for this. Looks like you get a $20 code off in-stock items if you sign up as well

Oh, that's on the best part of the movie. Beautiful writing.
