Had to put him front and center because he’s just clearly the best of the lot. InArt Bale replacements to follow in 2030(?)…

You're asking about a post from more than a year ago?

Giantoy is a good place. Also OneSixthKit is another reliable place to order. If you are in the states, then Specfiction is also good but you will have to wait longer for inventory.

Do you save that much at Spec to make the wait worth it?

I have nothing but good experiences with Kit and GianToy. I go with Kit because I like talking to him, and his shipping to me is just a little faster.

It did come out a little cheaper using spec.

My situation was different as i had canceled my og preorder from kit.

Is it true that Spec Fiction's inventory comes via a slow boat from China? If so, will it cross anywhere near the Titanic site? Any chance my Joker could be coming via a submersible?

Spec has actually been higher in price than Kit on most of InArt. I think all but Potter so far. I would recommend Kit over Spec as well because of the speed, reliability, and he is very active on here. The only reason I got my Joker from Spec is because I was late to the game ordering one and Spec was the only one that had reopened the standard at the time.

I just wanted to let them know that Spec is reliable too. I think some people also get some sort of piece of mind because he is located in the states. I've also heard others say Todd communicates well, but I haven't personally ever reached out to him.

I’m not writing this to convince anyone of anything, but I had a recent bizarre experience with SFS I thought I’d share.
For reference, I’ve ordered one thing from them and very quickly cancelled when I realised what additional international fees would cost—I’m not sure what I was thinking and admit I was unintentionally creating an unnecessary problem.
During the process of cancelling I had a question or two and was told three different things by three different employees on what to expect for the cancelled order’s refund and what I could expect for any future purchases. One response even included something which was brazenly opposite of what was in their own TOS. The team didn’t seem to refer to earlier emails from the chain for context and weren’t able to give definitive answers for some fairly basic questions.
It was completely my fault for putting them in the spot to begin with, and we both knew they were dealing with an idiot of a customer, but I have to admit I was shocked by the miscommunications coming from their team.
Todd was actually the one who cleared the air on everything. I’ve heard SFS is reliable, albeit slow, but as a warning for anyone who needs to contact them for any reason: be sure to summarize or reiterate your issue in every reply and be sure to include whatever you’ve already been told.
