I would love it if the Crown series always had top-notch rooted hair, and a diorama base similar to the recent Legolas or Aragorn Exclusive editions. Crown Series Gandalf the Grey base is just bad compared to those ...

I’m excited to hear about crown series Saruman, I hope he has longer robes and no bald spots as that was my only problem with the first version.

I wonder what accessories we will get with him as the version 1 palantir alter was incredible so what would crown saruman have? … a throne or balcony where he addresses the Uruk hai perhaps?
The table with the book he referenced in the films would be a great pair with the bomb.

Not sure if this has been posted here yet, but here's a post from their socials:

"We are so happy to update the production of Balrog is nearly done and will be ready to ship this year

P.S. The drink is for celebrating this good news~"

Ooops 🫣 I don’t remember it being that big !
Even halving the throne ‘backrest’ part, it would still be over two feet tall. Even at 2inch scale- and undersized for that- it’s big

If Asmus want to go for something to differentiate it from the first release then his balcony would be cool. Could reenact his ‘To war!’ speech.

Orthanc is just such a brutally sinister design. How did they not see Saruman’s heel-turn coming?!

The balcony is a good idea,
but it will be have to be propotionally shrunk to a collectible size as a diorma for a figure.
I think just three segments with four of the spiked posts would be perfect.
Saruman and Wormtongue and/or Lurtz would all fit behind and it wouldn’t use any more material than the Helms Deep dioramas.

To cut on weight, you could just make the floor section a card insert like with Saruman 1.0.

You wouldn’t need to worry about the spikes at the bottom unless there was a option to mount it to a wall…

Yes,
We have Gollum in fainl packaing stage,
GtW is ready in November, Bormir will be a December release if all goes well, and Thranduil will be in mid Jan.
I believe there is a Balrog some where for that too.

As for the things we are working on for Middle-Earth are the 4 hobbits and Gil-Galad, there is a long list including Saruman the Crown series,
Eowyn 2.0 and Haldir ...etc, but they are all in early designing stage as far as I know. (which means no physical model has been made yet)
Thanks for the heads-up, Mr Asmus.
Some questions:

1) Will Thranduil come in armour, or robes?

2) Concerning the 4 hobbits, will they come ir armour? If not, will they come with the capes they wore upon leaving the Shire, or the ones they got at Lothlorien, plus the elvish daggers? (or both sets?)

3) Any changes to Boromir besides improved headsculpt?

4) Will Crown Saruman come with the Palantir base? If affirmative, any improvements to the LED light-up feature?

Thx!!

You might split the balcony in 2 halves: one would come w/ Saruman, the other half with Wormtongue, in the future.
That photoshoot prop could be finally monetized.
Right?
