Where can I find this info?
Somebody mentioned somewhere in a facebook group that it's coming out in September and when asked about it they said they received their information from TW. Who knows if it's true but it sounds like standard TW practice to me so I'm inclined to believe it.

And just like that, Queen studios just called out Toys Wonderland and they are already trying to damage control. I pray for anyone who placed their Joker order with them.

Well according to OSK (mentioned in the InArt Gandalf thread but referring to TDK Joker), InArt is supposedly releasing a small batch soon:

I don't really understand the "Joker small batch release"... I see that only creating problems.

People will say "where's mine?" if they're not in early release; people will complain about 'batches' if later versions are different/superior. Seems like a potential headache for InArt/Queen; and if this is the start of the full release, then people will complain that InArt should have taken more time if there is anything 'off'.

Unless of course the "small batch" are production pieces for showing and corrective purposes and not for customer distribution.

All I can say is I'm hyped like a mother ******. I locked my order 6 minutes late with kit. But I still think I'm early in line when his batch arrives

Yup I completely agree. There will be a lot of disappointment when someone who thought they ordered early enough isn't part of that first batch. Could also be that first batch is for direct orders from Queens website sort of like how JND fulfills their own online orders first and then retailers after that.

I'm as eager as everyone to see this thing. I just hope the "early batch" doesn't throw people into a panic.
Like the blitzway joker statue... Imagine the chaos if we start seeing those low res pictures from people on the first day.. and the hands are falling off. And the hair is falling off. And the paint is looking rough. And the leg joints are broken. And accessories are missing. And the jail cell is made of plastic. And the wooden floor is just a sticker. And the box says "Jokur"!!!!! Oooft

Anyway, I for one would love an early release.
An early release would definitely be nice especially before Christmas. pay that sucker off and then be broke for the rest of the year after buying Joker and Christmas presents :lol

An early release would also drive sales of their other figures as it would reassure people of the quality they’re likely to get for future releases. We’re getting to the point now where you’re seeing a lot of people holding back on pre-ordering as they’re a little anxious as to whether InArt can deliver on their promises. A lot of people are willing to take the risk on one figure but maybe not 5+. So maybe it’s best to get some out early before putting more up for pre-order. There’s an awful lot of pressure resting on the shoulders of that first release.

When I say early release I mean a limited release to reviewers etc.

Btw I’d also love them to do this for Gandalf as that one is the litmus test of rooted hair and hyper-realism.

They shouldn't rush anything. They need to knock joker out of the park. Not spare any expense. Let no detail go untouched. Also I bet even if the first release is incredible there will still be ht trolls saying "this doesn't prove anything".

Not sure I'd want one of those early release figures if they use the feedback to make any improvements for later batches.

All I know is that if this **** tanks, it’s gonna break me because I am more excited about this hobby than I’ve been in forever. Even with Hot Toys, my attention was very much an assembly line where it was like “THIS IS SO COOL, now onto the next one.” Somehow, seeing Batman’s got me even more excited for The Joker. I’m looking through all the pics again and oohing and ahhhing and I’m like really, really ******* excited in a way that I haven’t been in a long while.

So, if all that excitement goes bust and I wind up out 200 bucks because these things look horrible? We’re talking catastrophic disillusionment. Like “there is no Santa Claus” disappointment. :lol

On the plus side, if they do a great job, having these 4 on display is gonna look amazing. :panic:
