SSC got me too, preordered the Exclusive with 6-hours left before the cutoff.
Almost opted for free shipping and no tax at Timewalker.
But the completionist in me swayed myself to pay the $58 SSC premium for a 1/6 hilt, box and cloth.
The sad thing is, I probably have a spare Anakin hilt lying around somewhere and it's probably not that hard to replicate a similar box and cloth piece - time to find some sand too.

It's an extremely simple special edition bonus but it has a lot of meaning to it. Although, the face sculpt is the main reason why I didn't pre-order this on the first day.

It has a lot of meaning to it, definitely. Which is why it shouldn’t have been a timed exclusive bonus or a bonus at all. For the cost it should’ve been included.
Make the bonus a chunk of desert whale meat or an extra rock.
If you’re conflicted I honestly think you should preorder it. If final production doesn’t cut it for you then sell it. Someone that missed out will happily buy the exclusive version from you.

I was actually waiting to use a $20 off future coupon. Obi is my favorite Star Wars character, own all hot toys and sideshow figures. How did you get SSC coupon these days?
I used to get them quite frequently either through email or though codes on the shipper boxes (from SSC purchases) that could be applied for in-stock or preorders.
But now I just get the garbage discount codes, that can only be applied to "select" items - a 10% sticker was included w/ Ahsoka Tano Hot Toys. Previously, SSC would almost always attach a sticker for $20-25 off any item.
Although I had mixed feelings about the Obi-Wan show, I agree the "laser swords" burying scene had resonance and is one of my big takeaways from the series.

Many codes can be limited in selection but if it’s the 10% off Hot Toys QR code coupon, that’s a good one. It works on any in stock Hot Toys.
10% is functionally minimum $20-25 anyway on the figures, but is even better on pricier figures.

Besides the codes you mentioned, are you getting the thank you code after placing an order via email? I received a rare 15% off instock item because my hot toys cable is delayed. But I hear other members get random codes even if they don’t place orders.

21 pages later, and no one is talking about the weird 1980's Tron backdrop?
Someone over at Hot Toys was on a synthwave kick I guess.
But I guess the sometimes dystopian and horror themes found in subgenres of synthwave fit the terror that is Summer Showcase and its fear based sales tactics pretty well.

I am getting it. I thought the show had moments of greatness. The 150 minute fan edit is much better.
