He's so delusional he says this piece will never be a grail and will sit at most retailers, again I don't know the guy, I've only seen some of his streams and videos but he comes across extremely narcissistic and petty torwards anything that isn't Hot Toys, lots of toxicity being thrown everyone.

He throw sentences around like

"Im a vetaran in the collecting game so let me tell you how it is"

"I have seen queen statues in person. If you have not seen a queen statue in person you have no say about this or reason to be excited"

"Even if this comes as good as the prototype it will not be a grail"

"People will try to sell it later and wont be able to"

"You know hot toys will respond with something better"

Drives me nuts to listen to that guy. 2 hours knocking this figure without good reason and making preposterus claims. Pretentious. Delusional. And a hypocrite.

That's always a good way to deflate someone. You'd be surprised, some of the loudest complainers have the most miserable collections and worst futzing skills.

Eh. I haven’t watched his latest stream but I personally I enjoy Danoby’s channel and have been watching his videos since the early days. He’s one of the few OGs still around like Optical20 and Deanknight. I do think his livestreams are his weakest content though, especially because he tends to ask a lot of random and boring people on to join him. He also has that Trump way of speaking, I can’t remember the actual term for it, where he doesn’t quite use proper sentence structure. By his own admission he will say stuff to purposefully rile the community up just to try and increase the viewer engagement. But I will say as a long-time viewer he definitely criticizes HT a pretty healthy amount as well.

I own the Asmus crown Gandalf. While the rooted hairs can really look awesome, you need time and experience to futz and style them correctly. I have none of both. And I like a figure to look like how it's intended to right out of the box.

Besides, I don't need two figures of the same character with the same outfits. QS could have just included a second interchangable headsculpt.

And finally, for 700 USD (1000-300) I could buy two Hot Toys figures.

So the standard for me. Really easy decision.
