There will be a live stream on willfoxification channel tonight at 7pm eastern with the guy from Queen studios. I think the same time the pre orders go live.He will be answering questions about joker and future releases. I’ll be asking about other DC franchises.
Well that is terrible timing lol

Maybe I’m mistaken, but I just watched his last video and he said the livestream was at 8:00PM. If that’s eastern time, it’s still a few hours before the preorder.

I'm in the UK so probably be sleeping by then if I can stop thinking about my Joker dolls. :lol:lol

Maybe someone could ask if a Batman Begins figure is likely. After the recent HT reissue debacle I'd kill for a definitive sixth scale Begins figure.

I hope someone can ask about Aquaman, I'd love to see them make him plus Mera and Black Manta.

i would definitly expect queen to have developed theyre own body. Seem to me like something they would do. No way theyre using stock stuff.
I don't see it, if they're commited to releasing this in Q4 of this year then having to design, cast and mass produce a new body would just slow them down, besides magnetic wrists are unecessary and wouldn't have the same range plastic pegs provide, not that it matters since most people want everyone to make seamless arms going forward.

The stream will be at 7PM EST, so 8 hours from now.

I wonder how many orders they are going to get? This could be the best figure ever or look like the Chewbacca figure from the farce awakens. I’m truly on the fence. It’s completely irresponsible to pay 1k for a figure from a first time 1:6 company, but damn I need the crack hit. Decisions…

It's Ledger's Joker, it will sell a lot lol, whether you're willing to spend over $1000 for the rooted versions is up to you, Queen is getting tons of praise for their work on other scales but 1/6 is a different ball game, I'm rooting for them to nail the hair but who knows how production on these will go.

I wish they would do Phoenix Joker. I skipped all the 3rd party ones as none of them looked good.
Yeah I considered the third party options for a while but none of them pleased me, people argued that Phoenix didn't want to sell his likeness but there's been several official statues, from Queen as well, maybe he thought "toys" was beneath him? If Queen's Ledger turns out successful that could sway him to lend his likeness for 1/6.

I don’t know if this has been covered earlier, but I’m really curious to see if queen is using the standard neck connector. If so, that opens up the door to those who get the sculpted version, but maybe want to replace it later on with a custom sculpt.

I wonder if it will be possible after the 3 days to find out just how many 'deluxe transplants' were PO'd...?

I'm curious too. Cuz if the number ends up being astronomical then that's a lot of hair to apply and well....
But honestly, I don't know how many is too many to hurt the end product. How many of those Gandalfs did Asmus make?

I’m wondering if this like many of their rooted silicone busts will be made in batches.

Their WW bust I think was released almost a whole year ago in China, but those in other countries including me are still waiting for their batches to be made. Heck their Alita has also been released over the same period, but at least those are finally being received by those outside China.

Well we're all assuming these will be outsourced to Viper who will root every sculpt himself, or have a trained team doing it in order to achieve the expectations of the prototype, if it's mass produced like the Asmus Gandalf it won't look nearly as good as the proto, Viper already produced an unlicensed Joker years ago as Over Toys which was limited to 999 copies I think and the result wasn't nearly as good as his limited custom runs or the proto pics of it.

A lot is riding on Queen delivering a Joker that matches the quality of those pictures and it's been a good few years since this unlicensed run for them to have the necessary funds to make it happen, the problem is they may be low balling the number of orders they get for the Deluxe versions and may end up having to cut some orders, for every purchase that's two sculpts that need to be rooted so definitely not an easy task for the people that will be doing the rooting.

wow that’s not good.

It was an unlicensed mass produced run from years ago, I've hopes Queen will do better than this, but the rooted hair is still a point of concern, their statues so far have been limited and take a while to get made, getting pushed back a lot, they plan to release these 1/6 scale figures with TWO rooted sculpts in under 8 months, of course we don't know what the number of orders will be for the Deluxe yet but I really doubt they won't delay those versions, I just don't see how they can mantain consistency across what will likely be hundreds of sculpts in such a short window of time, they cannot drop the ball on this one so it's better to have hope.

I was thinking he was West Coast, so I was wrong on the pre order time.
