I can understand that, as it's happen very often with companies. But reason why I have faith is because Viper is overseeing the hair work, and if they really are charging $1000 for two figures with said hair, that is practically a steel. Though I agree with many who said a single rooted hair version like the standard would have been preferable. That would have cost around $700-800 as that's what Viper charges for his own work when it's rooted hair.
It's no easy feat for Viper tho, they'll have to push back the release of the rooted versions or hope they get really low sales.

Most companies do. Look at Hot Toys... there's some rabid fans.

Just look how hard it is for many to pull away from HT's grip and try something new.
The amount of people who kiss Hot Toys ass boggles my mind. You say or criticize one thing about a figure and all you get it is:

"DoNt LiKe It? DonT BUy It!"
"LeTs SeE YoU Do BeTTeR!"

**** off. Hot Toys is not your best friend. They don't give two ***** about you.

You must be one of those boring collectors that prefers to have neutral expressions on your sculpts over revolutionary tongue action.

Yeah that usually happens with Viper. I had both his Nathan Algren figures preordered (sculpted and rooted versions) but sold my spot for the rooted (a bit of regret but oh well) they are doing sculpted hair first and the rooted will come out after that as it's more time consuming. But the figure is delayed now due to production issues with the armour. We might get the same situation as long as they deliver the standard this year, and say they will release the rooted later then that works.

I saw some folks actualy say they prefer the dx11. God help me.

Is it even confirmed Viper will do it himself? I don't see how he can finish them all in time if he has this Joker with who knows many pre-orders and the other Inart figures that are about to come.

That's what everyone assumes, if they actually mass produce the rooted versions there is no way in hell it will look like the proto, you'd have an OverToys Joker situation to deal with.

Ugh, part of me is almost annoyed at how amazing those rooted figures look, because I know I would have been perfectly content with just the standard figure, which is already a massive improvement over the custom I put together years ago and probably all I really needed in the collection.

But because the rooted looks so much better there's just no way I'll be able to resist getting that now.

I saw people saying Hot Toys 1/4 QS figure sculpt is better. It just boggles my mind sometimes.

Calling it now. Queen will cut off rooted preorders before the 3 days window is complete. Chaos will follow. Then queen will make it up with a single rooted release but for a delayed date.
