MK is still a violent guy.

But he's a literal schizo. Take that away and a big part of the appeal is lost. He should be a darker, more psycho "Batman", dealing with weird supernatural cases. But as a character he's built to fit into multiple genres. True Crime, Adventure, Supernatural Horror, Spy-Fi, etc. I'm not fond of all of them for him, but he can be easily inserted in them. Humor should be minimal, preferably morbid. But I have no real interest in a "proper superhero" Moon Knight.

I have to say, I'm pretty excited by all the supernatural stuff. If they get Rose Leslie for Elsa and pair her with Dane for maixum POTTERY, alongside the already rumoured and confirmed characters, we're looking at a pretty great team. I might even end up completing it and having a display for it if things don't get too crowded.
While I am still warming up to the mummy outfit, it certainly fits the supernatural genre. I still have no idea if this Werewolf at Night special is happening or not. And where is my Ghost Rider?! Maybe Strange 2 will reveal him.

Black Knight, Moon Knight and Blade is what we know we have so far. If I want that Midnight Sons team with additional members, oh man. F4 around that time too.

I noticed they added some monster he is beating on in that bathroom scene.

So far everything that’s shown up on Disney+ has been a tremendous disappointment and this doesn’t look any different. Mando is the notable exception.

I assume the Mummy look drew inspiration from this:

Maybe they were afraid of a guy in all-white with a hood coming off as a KKK member and wanted to add some more elements. I don't know if it's working for me yet, but I'm open to it.

As for GR, rumor has it Reedus has it. Dunno if Cage will come back for a cameo or extended role as maybe Blaze, with Reedus being Ketch. We'll see.

There's Morbius too, kinda. Maybe they'll add him to the MCU and have him come back for Midnight Sons/Suns/whatever if he flick's received well. Personally, I was planning to only buy a Punisher and a Moon Knight. Then I extended that to a GR too. I don't know if I'll be able to swing more, bar maybe an Elsa if she's well cast and portrayed. Dane I already had in my list, but would want to display him with a Captain Britain, although both could be added to a general Supernatural Marvel shelf with my Sorcerers and Midnight Sons.

We'll see, there's too much coming out and prices are going up. And it's not just HTs for me. Exo-6 makes those Trek figures and I'll need a Kirk and Spock. Problem is, they're limited and come out quickly, so you have a very small window. Then there's the random stuff, like that Bateman figure, Paul from Dune and so on. 2022 is already packed for me and it's not even begun. NWH I already took down from Tobey, Ock & Goblin to Tobey and 1 Villain (probably Goblin). MK I may skip for example, same with Battinson, and wait for their 2nd season/sequel looks. Black Adam I wrote off completely and am only planning for a Doctor Fate if he's made. Kenobi might give us re-releases of ROTS Anakin & Obi-Wan, and I don't want to miss those again. It's all just too much. And it's not like FF is that far away.

I won't lie, that would've been much better. But still, if they make it look like the concept art in Post and in motion, it could work.

Either way, Isaac & Hawke alone have me interested in this. The fact that I used to be a huge MK fan back in the day makes me more critical, but I'm liking what I'm seeing.

Embrace the Lunacy!

The trailer could've used something like that if they're truly going darker. Still though, I liked it quite a bit. It seems to have a higher production budget than the other ones. There's a flair to it compared to the previous cookie-cutter shows. I really hope they knock it out of the park. MK was my guy as a teen, plus Isaac & Hawke have me pumped. Let's hope for some good dollies too.
