That throne is overatted, could easily 3D printed. But this deluxe set is life.

Mythos does not have acid damage, he's just extremely weathered. Like he'd been out in the desert for a very long time.
One of the great things about him is he comes with a TON of accessories.

I would never have my figure sitting number 1.
That is why I skipped on the throne for Emperor. Always loved the Tusken Boba and I think that figure, Base, accessories are way better than a throne. I may get the repaint single if it looks really badass and i have funds at the time, but honestly I would never EVER choose the Repaint Throne Boba over this amazing Tusken and Weathered Armour Boba Set. Never.
I dunno, in 1/6 this throne in a printed version is not that cheap, iirc. I want to say last time I saw one, it was around $100. Might be a better value to just get the throne set.

You are probably right, without knowing the quality of the throne.
For the extra 100$ you get a ton more, and the armor is much more unique. And if you are wanting your action packed/tribal Fett in one swoop and don’t feel like waiting to see IF the show picks up well enough, this is def the way to go. Amazing Mando Episode and BoBF crossover figure set! Like, I considered Cancelling the Throne and getting this tbh when the blogger photos dropped.
But… I just really want that end credit display with him and Shand. I’ll have to wait till 2023 to maybe get it, but I think that’s a pretty iconic scene, Star Wars Universe wise, and I’m not as turned off by the show as some. Just some minor nitpicks, so far.
This is by far the best two-pack since Tarkin and Vader.

I did have the throne set for awhile, it was really cool. I never used the lights, so I’m not sure how they were. I know a lot of members here are much more anal about screen accuracy, which I can respect, so that wasn’t a issue for me, I saw it, all I saw was his throne. My biggest gripes was that the chair maybe was oversized, because his feet dangled. I put the stand under, and it fixed it visually, but I didn’t like that. I didn’t try any other figures in it, so maybe it was Sheev being too short.
also, the hood being sewn so it couldn’t be pulled over his head was foolish, I know people modded it easy, but I don’t mod, so for me it wasn’t cool lol.
I really dug the magnet on the arm for Luke’s Saber tho!
it made for a impressive display. But I know some people do make their own, so maybe that’s cheaper/better

Yes his kit (Kenobi’s as well) looked like incredible additions. Sideshow really has done well with that line!
The only PO I'm more excited about then this 2-pack is Luke Snowspeeder.
But I'll likely have more fun with these two and all the gear.

Jango Fett did more badass stuff in one movie than what we have seen from Boba in BoBF. But that figure is going to look incredible. But no prequel trash for me!

I think the set looks incredible. Objectively, the sculpts and weathering look fantastic and I can’t wait to have these. If a figure is done well, it deserves the nod and a place on my shelf, regardless of the size of the role or my “like” of the character (looking at you Baron Samedi).
I have mixed feelings so far. On one hand, I’m enjoying the show, the Easter eggs, and having something relatively close to the OT to ground me back into an era of SW I care about. On the other hand, I DO see the tropes being played out a little too hard. Physique jabs aside, I think this is a case of Tem playing Tem as Boba versus the established character (reminds me of D&D where you start playing as yourself versus being beholden your character and what THEY would do).
Yes, I realize the EU isn’t canon and his screen time was 4 minutes, but that’s kind of a cheap remark for a character that all SW fans know quite a bit about. I don’t, for example, see it fitting that an absolutely ruthless SOB working for the most evil dudes in the galaxy (canon) would find himself doing a communal Māori-style dance like a week after being kidnap-rescued by Tuskens.

Looking forward to this set, but Hot Toys needs make that Gladiator Wookie asap! And the Tusken tribe.
“We don’t know how long Luke trained on Dagobah.” Could easily be applied to Boba. We don’t see every day in Boba’s case because it’s fragmented memories relived while in Bacta tank.

I’m confused by the photos with the inside of the helmet. Does the deluxe include two head sculpts? Two helmets (one with a peg and the other with an interior design)?

Gina likely could kick your ass. She is believable as a bad-ass. Pull up any picture of Cara vs Boba, Boba looks fat with the armor, maybe TM isn’t in real life, but Boba looks fat for a guy on Tatooine in the sun and fat compared to days after ROTJ. Gina is built, thick, not fat thiccc.
She is far more believable to her role too.
That’s like saying Jango did more badass stuff in 3 minutes of one movie than OT Boba did all time. You are completely missing context.
