Pop toys made the outfits. I think Asmus did good with DMC4 Dante as the materials where their own work and they said they would never peel or flake. The pants on Dante however the moment I saw them I knew they where going to eventually flake which is a shame.
I do remember reading it before that the materials on DMC5 Dante were developed to last a long time as well. So I'm going with that as it doesn't make sense to use inferior materials on a newer product when a good one was previously developed.

I think the pants could hold up but you would have to be careful when leaving it on the stand as it most likely damage the materials.

Mine has been in the box for some time due to limited space. So 🤷‍♂️

Hopefully it's also safe but things also can fall apart once removed from the package. If Asmus doesn't get back to me I plan on having Geewhiz make replacement pants using real leather. I'd be happy to avoid paying for that if Asmus can get back to me. What's even more funny is Dante has not been parted out on ebay or other sites otherwise I'd just buy a new pair for $30.

Well, yeah, that's my concern that's why 🤷‍♂️ since I have no idea what's the current condition. I'm assuming a very thin lambskin can work as a pair of pants for Dante since that'll be very pliable. How much would you think that will cost you? Very thin kangaroo leather is also an option since that will be a lot more durable than lamb of the same thickness but kangaroo leather is much more expensive and harder to come by.

In total about $290 I have to send the current pants to salvage the buttons and the plastic leg vents on the pants so they can use it on the new pants probably the fake zippers on the sides also. I rather just get a new pair from Asmus so I don't have to spend that much. That money could pay for Luxury Vergil from DMC5.

I've been thinking about this for a long time since I bought the DMC4 dante, and as a result, I regularly manage their clothes.

Nevertheless, I could not stop their process of corrosion.
I understand that leather itself will have this effect anyway, but I couldn't help it because I experienced it myself.

DMC4 Dante is understandable because it's been three years since he bought it, and I've changed his body often. The fundamental problem may be that Asmus makes clothes too tight without considering body replacement.

DMC3 Dante is showing similar signs as above, so I'm nervous.

Damn this just sucks and they claimed it would last at least 10 year at the most. I really don't want to get another pair and the pants damage again but I need the replacement and I hope I can care for it. I'd do a custom clothing run for the pants and shirt, but IDK if anyone would be in for that, and I imagine the price would be around the same as a standard figure from Asmus. Now I'm weird about Vergil his pants will be at risk.

If I could, I'd love to join in the GeeWhiz order. I'm aware they're not cheap (just saw you quoted the price, OUCH), so I'm prepared. Just makes sense to order at the same time if we're ordering the same thing, if possible :/ DMC5 Dante looks great and I'm not really prepared to part with him in my collection for a while, so if the pants start to flake they'll definitely need replacing. Hopefully Asmus will just send out replacements... Hell I'd be happy with perhaps just the pattern?

Hi,
I've been trying to correct the magnet issue with rebellion (which succeeded) but a family member spilt glue on my work bench all over the sword which has, naturally, ****** up the paint work quite a bit.
I was wondering whether anyone had any tips on which paints to use to correct the issue?

I remember geewhiz does orders for cheaper if ther'es a bunch of people going in on it, I don't know how many people you need for that but it'd benice to know.

You would need pictures of the damage, glue would probably deform the plastic though, and you'd need to remove that first, and probably strip the whole sword lcean and repaint it with an airbrush.

Oh darn, I was just about to purchase a DMC3 Dante, maybe I shouldn't then!

IF you guys do wind up doing a geewhiz custom order, let me know, I know they do discounts on larger orders, and if we get a significant order it'll go down a bit. DMC3 Dante is one of my favorite designs of my favorite characters, Kinda makes me want to get DMCV Dante too honestly, but if this is the end game quality of teh pleather, I will opt for custom clothes.

I'm glad Lady, Nero and DMCV Vergil don't have this problem. Still miffed their Vergil had a pleather coat tbh, should've been silk or it's synth equivalent.

I definitley intend to get the pants made for my Dante. After researching the game pants I found Asmus didn't put all the details the pants have in game. So I sent all the stuff I found and sent it to Geewhiz which will cost about $350 or more for them done.

I am wondering if Asmus would ever make the alt colors for these figures, even as an exclusive.
