That has all the makings of a Con exclusive. Same figure but additional accessories.

Mandate from WB or DC whoever is no guns with their figures. Not sure if that's the case here but he has no cloak either. Might be expensive enough as is.

That mandate is insane. I saw yesterday on youtube a video covering McFarlane's "The Suicide Squad" line and all the figures were gunless, but were packing swords and spears which made no sense whatsoever since the film's multiple trailers and clips show the characters firing pistols, assault rifles and rocket launchers. I guess if we ever get another Joker figure down the line from Hot Toys, expect him not to have a machine gun or rocket launcher. Crazy. Well, at least it'll keep the 3rd party companies in business making 1/6 scale guns. Hopefully, some 3rd party company will do the machine gun/rocket launcher thing for this Cyborg figure to make it like how he appears in the Knightmare sequence.

Yep, totally illogical. Guess they don't like merchandising money. I already was thinking there will be custom Knightmare pieces for him. The more components the more expensive.

People can achieve this look pretty easily, no? Just pick up a 1/6 gatling gun. He comes with the two extra arms/hands already.

Did the finish of his armor look that mottled/patchy on screen? I honestly don't recall it looking that way. Regardless, it looks pretty cool lit up with the plasma cannons, rocket launcher and those thruster effects. IMO those extra arms seem like weird accessories to pick, but whatever. Happy for those who have been waiting for this.

Maybe in some scenes it did, but for the most part it looked pretty clean from what I can remember. But I agree, it looks pretty great overall. I like the extra arms since he did actually use them in ZSJL, same with the helmeted head. If it was based off Josstice League then it wouldn't make much sense to add them. I'm always for extra accessories though. Something about having more accessories makes the price more bearable to me when buying figures As long as the accessories actually make sense.

It's so weird how that mandate works. There's some stuff we see that still have guns shown. But then other collectibles aren't allowed to have guns. It seems very case by case. At least up until recently. Now it seems a little more across the board. Don't want to open that can of worms in this thread, like what happened in the other one though.

Wow this thing looks absolutely phenomenal. I don't own any other JL figures (until that new Superman and Batman set comes out), but his kinda looks worth having all on its own. Especially with all the cool lightup features, which I'm always a sucker for.

Wooohooo !!! Woke up this morning to this...finally !!

The headsculpt looks great ! Can't wait to finally get this guy.

Not so excited about the back arms. Did he really have those in the film ? In any case at least there is a socket in the back to attach a knightmare version gun.

Who knows maybe they put that in there for insurance in case JL2 does get made down the road (after Discovery merger is complete next year and Zack has done his couple of Netflix projects). A knightmare version would be easy to make from this tooling.

Either way I think it would be an easy third party job to make a canon and brown cloak.

I guess it's possible, especially if they are leaning on an Iron Man skelton/base body.

Looking at it though there is a lot of non-standard stuff for the body and joints. No wonder they hesitated in releasing it.

Probably not going to be cheap for that reason alone.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Some impressive lighting though. Chest, head, arms, legs and wasn't expecting the little jets.

I'll probably just have him in museum pose though I imagine. The League looks OK like that on those bases to me.

He looks magnificent. I fear for my bank account between this and the ZSJL Bats/Supes two-pack. Plus my expensive kitbash projects. Anyway, he’ll go for north of $400 USD I’m guessing.

But again he looks beautiful. He‘s going to have tremendous shelf presence. Like I’ve got some gorgeous figures in my collection, but I can already tell that the eye is going to be automatically drawn to this figure among my assortment of figures displayed via bookcases and wall sconces.

What are your guesses as to when it’ll go up for pre-order? And release date?
