I?ve lost track was it only the ROTJ they updated or both ESB and ROTJ

The one that is just now starting to ship is ROTJ but they also released an ESB recently too.

The new sculpt has only been put out in ROTJ colours so far though. If they recently released an EBS one it must have been the crappy old one, right?

The only ESB version available I believe though right? I ordered a couple ROTJ versions from BBTS too. And will be same deal when they release Sarlacc escape Fett, and then the minty fresh repainted Fett.

I wonder which "ultimate super good" version of Fett will come with the Haslab crowd funded Slave One this fall?

All the brightly lit corridor options they could have gone with for the card art and they choose an image so dark you can barely see her. Terrible choice.

such a shame.
I hardly collect much 4inch or 6inch figures these days (Thanks hot toys),but seen this 1 and had to have it for nostalgic reasons.

They probably don't want you to be able to tell that a figure they made 20years ago is better than this one.

Fett always gets his mark

Got mine in from amazon today. Sadly it wasn't the corrected chest plate.

Regardless, this figure is a disappointment. I was hoping it would just be a scaled down version of the 6 inch one, but the articulation just isn't there. The soft as hell plastic for the rifle doesn't earn it any points either. They seem to have swapped using the older hard 3.75 weapon plastic for the black series and the old black series soft weapon plastic for 3.75 now.

Yep.
Pricing for figures went from $15AUD to $25 to $29 AUD for VC.
Black series is no $45 to $50 for regular.
$60AUD for dlx figures,like ROTJ Fett or JJB.

Hot toys figures are now pre orderable for a short time at $350AUD to $450AUD.

It is becoming hard to sustain at times.

This new Fett is great. Way better than the previous 2 molds they used for him. Plus Amazon sent me both versions of the figure, so I kept the smooth chested one moc, and opened the corrected one.

Received 2 smooth-chested ones today. I haven't opened one as I'm in work but it looks excellent. Finally a well shaped and proportioned Boba Fett after almost 20 years of ol' Cone-dome VOTC. The 300th figure Boba Fett was always good but obviously in a very scene-specific pose.

I'm disappointed that Weequay didn't win the vote, a Clone Trooper apparently did.

In other news you can now preorder the Offworld Jawa, time to army build in preparation for the Razor Crest!
