I’ve finally put together my 12th, and quite possibly final, 1/6 scale Indy in my collection.

I’ve been wanting to make a suited Indy for the longest time, but I could never find the right suit. The wait paid off though, and with the release of this PP Toys “Gangster” suit, the final piece of the jigsaw fell into place!

Very pleased with how he turned out and he finishes off my Indy collection nicely. Fortune and Glory!

The smiling sculpt fits perfectly with your suited Indy. Great job.

Very nice!

Nobody ever does their last Indy, something will always come along and we go "Ah!". You wait....

Put together an almost entirely new figure with the Buffy head using a mix for the outfit (Kato jacket, Iris shirt, Yunsil pants). It's an interesting sculpt where I think the likeness comes out best with some harsh lighting but also shadow (like the first close-up shot on the right). It's on the smaller side of sculpts, similar in size to my Inigo Deckard, so maybe HT sized.

Also upgraded to the Full Metal Custom belts.

That looks great Tonton, and the head size and proportions seem to work perfectly fine to me. I'm still not totally crazy about the likeness on that sculpt, but it gets the job done well enough.

So, my next figure I want to try and get is a Indy figure and not knowing anything when it comes to customizations, would it be better to try go the route of customizing an Indy, or just buy a DX05?

Looks amazing TonTon!

I love the pics of your different Indy's, it always makes me want to upgrade and mess with my Indy to try to improve him.

Custom is the way to go if you can afford to.

The Dx05 is not worth the current price it goes for now, some of the items are still good but a lot of it needs to be upgraded to look good enough for current 1/6 standards, imo.

Thanks, davejames. Sculpt worked okay with my full Iris setup/TOD body. It's now on the Banner body and I went back and forth with the Iris jacket for a while, but this setup seemed to be the best mix.

If you can get a DX05 or Sideshow TOD
Indy for a good price go for it. Can always customize and upgrade from there. I still have my Sideshow TOD figure almost entirely stock aside from the bag strap and sculpt.

For a long while I just had a custom sculpt on the TOD figure as my one Indy, then I added a jacket, then I added a custom belt/holster and had the sculpt repainted, then eventually I built a separate Raiders figure and then upgraded the clothes for that.

But it's still helpful to have a full base figure to start off with. Plus the parts you don't need when you make upgrades sell easily on eBay.

Excellent Indy, TonTon!!! :clap

That top right picture has a terrific intensity. Looks a lot like the original Raiders poster.

:duff: Thanks, guys! I should have some upgrades to my TOD figure soon, waiting on a sculpt in transit.

True, the DX05 is pricey for what you get now (also considering parts might have disintegrated), especially if you just want a basic Raiders setup. I guess the Present Toys version is the best starting point at the moment, pending final production of course.

I do see a little Bradley Cooper sneaking in on the Buffy sculpt, but, you can still tell it's Indy. The hat is the best Raiders hat I've seen, the proportions of it are dead on.

Man, always great work in here guys! Love coming back in here and seeing new stuff.
Crazy Indy TonTon. Every piece of him looks top notch.

Yeah, nothing is ever 100% in this hobby, especially when a Ford character is involved. :lol I still think Buffy's Deckard has probably the strongest Ford likeness, topping his Indy.

As I noted before, the Indy has some similarities to my Inigo Deckard, which I believe is based on his v2 Indy. Was surprised by that, but in a good way since I thought Deckard and the Jnix Indy looked a bit odd side by side. Almost like two different people. My girlfriend always says she sees Cooper in the Jnix Indy sculpt.

Really nice ton ton !

Thanks, Blazio! The Iris/Inigo v3 is a strong combo as well. :clap

Thanks, my friend!

I prefer the one on the left. I think it is the Jnix sculpt. The one in the middle is either MJ Choi or the knockoff Treasure Hunter, which I have and looks good except that it is oversized and the hat seems too small on mine.
