That's excellent ajp.

Thank you! I greatly appreciate that. :duff

Below is the Crait version of this TFA head sculpt that I mentioned in my post from yesterday. Obviously, it took more of the sculpted hair being chopped off for this one. And although the eyes look absurdly bright in photos, they look far more normal in person.

I don't yet have the actual HT Crait pants and boots, so had to use those from the Ahch-To figure. And still don't have the belt. But this gets it close enough to see how the full figure would turn out. Not as good as I was hoping for, but I'm okay with it. I hope this at least gives people a sense that there's a decent Hamill likeness in this TFA sculpt that can be useful beyond just the stock figure.

Picked up TLJ Luke head sculpt and made the switch. Looks way better now. Before and after pics below.

Agreed. TLJ sculpt does elevate this figure.

If I could go back and do things over, I do think my ideal two ST Lukes would be TFA Luke with TLJ sculpt and Crait Luke. I was initially adverse to CL because it’s representation of him that wasn’t really him, but I‘ve since come around and come to terms with the fact that if I had it, I’d probably put his RotJ green-bladed saber in his hands and just have it serve as a general representation of a post RotJ Luke, not worrying about it being film accurate.

I’d have to sell TLJ Luke but the problem is I want the sculpt. I could sell everything with it except the sculpt, but I highly doubt that’d be appealing nor would it cover the cost of a Crait Luke.

Perhaps one of these days I’ll swing something and end up with that ideal ST Luke pair.

I really like Hobo Luke, really nice outfit, different types of material, but also in large part for the sculpt and since he wore that for the bulk of the movie where Luke has the bulk of his meaningful scenes with Rey. But I now am seeing the TFA version as a representation of him across the three films. Plus, while being a generic Jedi outfit, color-wise it stands out a bit more from Han and Leia too.

Yeah, I really like the outfit on Hobo Luke as well for the same reasons. Though like you said, his TLJ Jedi robes is pretty much his look throughout the trilogy, as he had them on in all three films. TFA figure with TLJ sculpt and brown gloved hand would probably be the best single Luke representation for the trilogy imo.

Fixed that for you....

I also put a TLJ sculpt on my TFA Luke as I agree it really elevates an underrated figure. I also went a little further and added the RotJ cloak and gloved saber holding hand from Crait Luke. This is my ideal Jedi Master Luke look.

I did the same but also included the sith crystal necklace (which belongs to Darth Vader in my own personal head-canon).

I still have this figure, bought it before the atrocity that was TLJ. It still displays well with old man Han. Lately I've been thinking about giving his robes a coffee bath(maybe even add some dark dye) and making him an idealized non ST Jedi Master Luke.

I love it. Has anyone tried this Luke but with the Crait headsculpt? That'd be my ideal with his green saber.

Thanks. I had thought about exchanging the Crait sculpt to see how it looked. Maybe I?ll get around to it this weekend and upload some pictures if nobody else does by then.
