I remember that scene from the original mini series was one of the most disturbing. The way the old lady slurped up her tea like a pig was the first sign something was off.
Never did watch the new one. I read the book so long ago. Of course I still remember "the scene" but I also remember a giant talking turtle, which wasn't in the TV movies.....is the turtle in the new ones?

Was it intentional they cast the girl in the first one because they knew they wanted Jessica to play the adult
Because none of them look like tv version
Annette O’toole doesn’t look like her and the child looked liked like a young Mya Bialk

That's because the TV ones are the bootleg versions of the characters lol

It wasn’t, but there’s a couple turtle references. The Lego turtle Billy makes, when they jump into the lake one of the kids says they “see a turtle” in a throwaway line.

First movie sucked.
What happened to that promised directors cut?
The CATS trailer was 100x creepier than that final IT2 trailer, lame beat out by a broadway show.
