I think it would have been easier to add a mo rather than remove it by CGI. That's why WB was offering to pay for the CGI mo but Paramount wasn't having any of it. I guess Paramount thought it might not look good so decided not to risk it.

Why do you think Synder cut would be any better and why are people so obsessed with it...other than curiosity? He is one of the worse things happened to the franchise next to WB. Also at leats half part or probably a lot more is his Justice League anyway. They did an unrepairable damage to their brand...and it will suffer for a long time because of it.

Well, no one knows for sure if it would have been better but the mustache fiasco was from the reshoots. So we know that the Snyder Cut’s Superman would at least have had a real face.

At least snyder has confirmed there is a snyder cut so that gives some hope
Most fans and general audiences liked Man Of Steel and BvS. For starters at least Supermans face wouldn't be CGI. Have you watched the two bonus scenes that were included with the blu-ray? They're more interesting than anything Whedon re-shot. We never got to see Snyders complete superman arc.
Hans Score is much more fitting that Elfman's too.

-no russian family with bug spray. My goodness
-no flash landing on WW bewbs. Cmon lol.

The worst thing about the DCU is the Knightmare sequence hinted at a larger overarching plot, then JL basically disregarded it.

Nothing could save JL.
It was done incorrectly from the start.
This was messed up by studio interference and the need for the DCU to catchup to the MCU.

Yes totally agree- he had a two part JL film to expand it but then that got shafted when WB dropped the second film and so on...

Well I agree. No matter how you look at it WB messed it up big time. Also while I loved Shazam...there is this poor taste in my mouth that the movie is still in the DCEU clearly.

True. I agree.. The need to catch up with the MCU was a misfire and an obvious tell that WB did not have confidence in their characters. I thin some of that may have come from MOS not meeting expectations.
I didn't even hate JL. I mean its not a good film but I enjoy it in that "Watching my Saturday morning cartoon of Super Friends Come to like" kinda way.
But the DCU is a mess and its too bad. They wanted to be Marvel without being Marvel.
