Grand Floridian? That's pretty much the TOPS. Make sure you eat at Victoria & Albert's chef's table.

I hear it might be one of the finest dining experiences you'll ever have in your life.

I usually stay at the Boardwalk and have stayed at Caribbean Beach once. Love the BW since it's walking distance to EPCOT which usually leads to me taking a nightly stroll around World Showcase for a few drinks.

I've stayed at BW once. Been a long time, but I liked be close to epcot and Hollywood studios.

I have stayed at Poly, Contemporary, and the Beach Club. Our "home" is the Beach Club but this next fall we are going back to Poly now that most of the construction should be complete.

CB,are you a photographer by trade or just a lover of photography?
Your pictures are remarkable!

haha thanks, just a lover of photography. My shots definitely aren't "photographer level". There's some folks out there that are making incredible art from what they see.

So far I've stayed at:

Coronado Springs
Port Orleans
All Star Movies

Of the three I liked Coronado Springs best, but it was also the newest at the time.

When my son was young,we would stay at the All Star Sports.
since then we stayed at Carribean Beach Resort, last month we stayed at Port Orleans and we are going back in March and staying at Coronado Springs.
Look forward to staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Have always stayed at the Ft Wilderness Campground since I was little. I love the smell of the trees and the boat horns. I like visiting all the hotels though, I fell in love with the pineapple coconut bread at the Luau- found a recipe online, I need to make some soon.

That is nuts.
I guess being a Florida resident i could stay for $1500/night.
I'll save my money for something else.
Those prices are crazy!
Thanks for posting.

DAMN, but I assume most people who are going to stay in those are DVC members.

I would think so as well.
I cannot see or warrant spending that kind of $$$ on a room.
As far I we go,when we go to parks,we go to parks and spend minimal time at the resort.
We go to Resorts with certain amenities for that kind of relaxation but not when we go to theme parks.
We get there when they open and leave when they close.
I could understand different tactics when you have little ones though....

I have stayed at the following:

Contemporary
Wilderness Lodge
Caribbean Beach
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Art of Animation (one night)
Port Orleans French Quarter

I'm a DVC member - the value for the bungalows is AWFUL.

"booking will require between 841 and 1439 points needed for a week long stay"

For comparison: In June I stayed 8 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge, with a Savannah (animals) view, for 156 points.

To make it slightly more apples to apples and compare Magic Kingdom resorts - last year, I stayed 7 nights at Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary for 160 points.

Or for another more apples to apples in terms of occupancy - you can get a three bedroom villa at numerous resorts, which sleeps 12-14, for half the points of the bungalow (the largest bungalow sleeps up to 8).

Sadly, Disney knows what will sell, and these bungalows will almost definitely be sold out 365 days a year. But it's a horrible sign for the future that these kinds of prices are acceptable - because eventually what is "acceptable" by people willing to perversely splurge during a Disney trip will become the norm for pricing.

I stayed at the Carribean resort for my honeymoon, it was great. I was fortunate to have a room in the end of the bus route. I would gladly stay there again. I have never stayed in the higher end hotels, but I wouldn't mind at some point.

Some misc shots of the All-Star Movies resort. The selections for this hotel are odd at best: Love Bug, Fantasia and Fantasia 2000, Toy Story, 101 Dalmations, Mighty Ducks.

I understand Toy Story... but I think they should focus on movies that have either been critically raved about or ones featuring actual stars.
