Cried twice too, both involving Alfred
Spoiler:1) When BW rises from the pit/when the Bats fly out.
2) The ending. When they unveil the Batman statue, and when you realize BW is still alive.
Just got back. I have to say that I really enjoyed the film but would rank it #3 of the trilogy.
Batman Begins 10/10
The Dark Knight 9.5/10
The Dark Knight Rises 9/10
I tend to cry for the empowering stuff.
Spoiler:1) When BW rises from the pit/when the Bats fly out.
2) The ending. When they unveil the Batman statue, and when you realize BW is still alive.
Spoiler:The scene when Gordon asks Batman who he is and he replies something about "A hero can be anyone, even a cop who put's a jacket on a young boy and says everything will be OK
OK can some one help me with a quote from the film.
I know it's early, maybe you've seen it once or twice and it's not on IMDB,I checked.
Spoiler:The scene when Gordon asks Batman who he is and he replies something about "A hero can be anyone, even a cop who put's a jacket on a young boy and says everything will be OK
Or what ever the line is.
Can anyone help?
Spoiler:Wayne is essentially telling Gordon his identity since in BB Gordon was the one who comforted Bruce after the accident. There's even a flashback to that very scene in TDKR.
Spoiler:"Anyone can be a hero. Even a man who put a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know the world hasn't ended."
What Nam said.
I have done a great job avoiding the spoilers so thanks for the tags! Wife and I are going to see it in the morning and then I am going to see it again Tueday night with a buddy...cannot wait.
Spoiler:https://spinoff.comicbookresources....rom-dark-knight-rises-set-reveal-lazarus-pit/
I was waiting to see this the minute they mentioned the Lazarus Pit and was hoping to see more about how Bane became what he is apart from the 'Super fast-foward 10 sec Intro' of his life.
Is it because Nolan thinks the masses wouldn't know about / be disinterested in this, that he edited the part? They definitely spent a good amount of time here on the 'Green Sheet' (Ref. Production crew who hosted them in India)
Spoiler:I don't think it was ever intended to be the Lazarus Pit. This was just the hole of Bane's Prison, creating the interior with Greenscreen.
I'm not sure if this has been discussed on here, but this was last year when they were visiting the city a 150 miles from mine.

Spoiler:Yeah it wasnt the lazarus pit of Immortality, it was an exile prison.
Spoiler:Umm...wasn't the Fort right BEHIND the 'exile prison' ?
There's nothing next to this. It's shot almost in the middle of nowhere
Edit: Got my answer. Green sheet used there for CG. The CG the entire scene of him coming out of the cave. It's actually a 3 foot high stone rim.
Spoiler:I cringed when Bane picked up batman and just broke his back
Spoiler:Thought it was a great way of handling the romance that the two characters have always had in the comics. It makes sense that Bruce and Selina would escape together to start fresh. She was a key part of Bruce's fresh start.
Spoiler:I did tear up at the scene where Batman flies over the bridge up to the detonation of the explosive. The music, the cinematography were just amazing. The final scene with Alfred seeing Bruce and Selina too was probably my favorite part.
