I'm sure there's some Cricket fans amongst the members here!
About time we had a Cricket thread.

World T20 is ongoing right now - not been the most exciting edition of the championship so far, but hopefully it kicks into a higher gear with the Super 8s starting this coming week!

I'm Pakistani so a die-hard Pakistan Cricket Team fan.

I try to play fairly regularly too, bowl fast medium and bat late in the order.

I feel the same about the English Premiere League, or NFL.

Sad day for the community.

Phillip Hughes has died as a result of the injuries he sustained when struck by a bouncer on Tuesday. He was 25.

RIP.

By all accounts he was a really nice guy. An undoubtedly long and successful career in the game cut tragically short by a freak event. You have to feel for the bowler too.
