The trailer did reveal way too much

is he a werewolf? does he become a werewolf out of sheer mind power?
The trailer did reveal way too much
It revealed a lot but I believe the point was to say 'Hey, this isn't a MKS movie with a BS twist at the end!".
There's no twist. Just a cool moment. Glad I didn't read it ahead of time.
I read the twist...meh.
If the actual film and story is good, then the "twist", which isn't really a twist, might be worth seeing in theaters.
Spoiler:Why did everyone in the theater cheer when they mentioned "The Horde"? What does that refer to?
Spoiler:they cheered when the woman asked about the person in the wheelchair. You find out in that scene that this movie takes place in the same world as Unbreakable, One of M. Night's older films which was basically an origin story for Bruce Willis' character becoming a superhero. This movie is basically an origin story for The Horde, a villain that's most likely setting up a 3rd movie with them fighting.

Spoiler:
Kevin's father was killed on the same train that Bruce Willis' character survived in Unbreakable, which is why he put down the bouquet of flowers by the train before he transformed into The Beast. So Glass was responsible for creating a superhero and a supervillain.
Find mucked.
I knew it had to be tied toSpoiler:"cinematic universes"
