It’s simple they have knuckles and tails in it. Also no way they are going to butcher the characters. Unlike star wars the guys behind sonic respect the source material and lore. So much so they delayed the movie after everyone hated that crap design.

Tbqhwy, I'd like Superman more if he wasn't such a boyscout. I like the lore, I like the aesthetics, but the rest... He does have great hair though. Maybe that's why they axed Cavill.

That hairline has left Jude Law territory and is heading for Eagle Cage.

My son has spent the entire weekend asking about seeing it, I’m excited to see it the kids, hearing nothing but good things.

Well that was a blast! My son and I both really enjoyed it. It was brilliant seeing Sonic, Tails and Knuckles together on the big screen.

There's another mid-credits scene that sets up (fingers crossed), part 3.
