I made $500 off of discontinued Lego sets. Yeap, the rare collectors keeps on buying them and I'll keep on selling.

This is so true. I've made a boat load of cash off 2-3 year old Star Wars Legos. Buy them now and in 2-3 years they'll go up 300 percent in value. Or more.

I love all of the cynics in this thread. Lego Star Wars is one of the only good things to come out of the Star Wars brand in a long time. Thanks for the link Carl, I'm getting R2 for sure.
