great set ups in this thread! davejames loving the ANH Lukes! Medi hair on hot toys? i must see better pics

Yeah it's the Medicom hair. It's still not great, but I'm liking it more than the HT hair at least. Here's a couple old pics I have. And I also repainted the eyes.

Looks great! Did you have to modify the head or hair to put it on?

This wasn't actually my work; it was someone's custom that I bought on eBay as I thought it worked really well. All I did was tweak the paint job on the head and repaint the eyes.

And there was no mod to the head, but it looks like he did have to dremel the hair a little to get it to fit.

looks great man! i always thought it would be cool. the paint you applied steps it up. what about ceremony luke? is that the hot toys repainted?

Yeah I made a copy of the HT head and shaved the back down quite a bit so the HT hair would sit lower and not have that conehead shape.

thats what it looked like. great job! i still believe the original was squished during production. i shaved down my bespin battle damaged luke head to set the hair lower as well. all these little hairline adjustments can make a big difference
