That made the base much better. You know I am not a fan of the Kirby look and therefore sold mine but remember the base to be very lacklustre to what is a great sculpt

Nice re-paint on the base Andy. Did you also repaint Hulk? His feet look different in the before and after photos, but maybe that is due to the camera settings? I am downsizing my Hulk collection to make room for new statues, but I don't think I will ever sell my Hulk PF either.

Hey Mike, thanks buddy Nah, would never risk repainting the Hulk I think its just a case of the phone settings bro...I forgot to take a before pic so that one you see on the before shot was pulled out from google images

Cool story to go with the pics Andy. There's just something about finally getting a statue after months of feverishly searching for one. The unboxing, the discovery that it is indeed pristine and then the immediate satisfaction that you can finally enjoy it as your search is over.

Base looks great, really adds to the piece. Grats on finally reviewing one of your prized statues.

Have you not seen my Optimus Prime Caesar? I posted an update on my thread about 3 months ago and on facebook too I received him Battle Damaged and then had him repainted into a more familiar G1 colour scheme Now I'm thinking of changing him again and going to add more white around his waist to make it more accurate...

Plus I've still got to post the 'Roller' update which will sit on his base. Only got him back yesterday from being colour coded to match Prime's legs...so need to take some pics plus I've almost completed my repaint of the matching G1 Megatron half scale statue
