He was such a class act and a great human being. He was very proud Tar Heel and bled Carolina Blue. Very sad to see him leave us

I woke up this morning and turned ESPN on during the tribute and was unsure the reason until SVP came on and then knew he had passed away even though it was never said during the time I was watching.

I still remember the touching speech about his daughters on the Espys. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Ya, shocked when I read this earlier today. It's funny cuz if you follow sports closely we grew up with a lot of these people and saw them everyday, so it's tough to absorb when they pass.

Always enjoyed watching ESPN when he was on. I was hoping to see his face back on MNF this year, but it didn't happen. R.I.P. Scott you will be missed.
