I just thought I'd throw my hat into the SW Customs ring here. I have a thread in the regular customs section, but there are so many SW customs that should be in this section, I thought I'd start another one here. I'll post in chronological order starting back from '06 when I first started customizing the Hasbro figs. This was my first ever custom job, handmade jumpsuit and cummerbund.

Here's just a simple re-worked Hasbro Boba from '06 as well.

Hey hey all right! So glad you have started your own thread. I remember seeing your stuff a few years back at the OSW forums. Your pics of that Biker Scout are what got me motivated to start modding my Hasbro figs.

I am really looking forward to following your thread and seeing what you have planned in the future. :)

Here's my next biggest attempt, my first time trying to re-work the entire Lando fig. :slap :medic I actually never finished this, because I wanted to completely build the helmet, but it was such a pain I put it off.

Very nice work. I really like the weather on Boba's flight suit. What did you use to achieve such a realistic look?

Thanks, OSW is still my main forum, but ever since this SW custom section started here, I'm a regular visitor here! :1-1:
I'm trying to finish up a BIG non SW project I've been working on for over 2 years, but once that's done, I'm getting back to finishing up a bunch of Marmits I won on ebay a few years ago.

Glad to see you on this side of the fence! Look forward to seeing more of your SW customs, I've always enjoyed your work.

Then once they released the Endor Troops I tried out this little guy.

I was also working on a bunch of SW inspired blasters for awhile.

Here's the Hasbro before and after pics of Boba's blaster. Just replaced the grip and part of the stock.

This was made for a Sci-Fi contest. It's based on a Shock Trooper who became "self-aware", and followed his Mandalorian heritage to become a bounty hunter. His name is Red Fett.

Here's the newest custom I just finished today. I painted this little guy last summer, but took a year to get to the leather hood done. I also sculpted a spear point from sculpey and tied it to a wood stick from my yard. I'd love to pick up more of these Ewoks, but haven't found a good price yet.
Here's the new paint with the Hasbro hood.

For the flight suit I just put it in a bath of dirty acrylic water. I took a container and mixed up some black and dark brown and watered it down. I found it's best to get the suit wet with plain water first, or any paint particles tend to stick immediately to the dry fabric, but if it's already wet it just blends in. It's also best to hang the suit up while it's wet and let "drip dry", then the way the color dries is more natural. Here are pics of how I weathered the suit on Red Fett.

Here's another technique I use. First wet your fabric, then take paint on a brush and apply to specific areas, then use your fingers to rub into the fabric. Here are some before and after pics. Start off slow, but realize you can go heavier with the paint than you think, it lightens up when it dries.
