I picked up one of the new HB figures. It's a bit short, but a slight extension in the ankle department of a couple of inches might make it a decent display piece.

Im REALLY surprised no one used these as a base for a Gears of war or exo suit!!!!!

I have an 18" HB on the way, should be here tomorrow. I want to try and match HT's painting and color scheme as close as I can. Getting a China KO Ironman for the inside. Really looking forward to seeing what can be done with it, would love to add some LED lights as well. This thread got me hook, line and sinker.

Is it the knock off MK43 you’re getting?

I was going to say that. I have three of those bootleg MK43, and it doesn't fit in this one. The HB could be altered, but it would be a lot of work with a dremel.

I thought that would be a issue and was planning on removing the arms, then I found some iron man helmet with Tony's head inside. That's all I really need and will cost less. I dont plan on displaying HB opened so the body is not an issue.

WOW! That looks awesome, I would love to see some close ups of that repaint and get some details on "how to". I want mine to blend in with my HT Avengers and your paint job looks like to fits the bill.

The KO Ironman is smaller in size to HT, but I figured inside the beast it wouldn't matter...

It works standing on its own, but not with other armours.
It’s also a bit iffy with a Tony head, but works perfectly with the Pepper helmeted sculpt.
If I get a chance later I will post pics for you.

Here are some pics of it. Iphone has that lens thing that makes heads seem fractionally larger than they really are, so that's why Tony's head looks huge, lol.
