Mine just arrived! HOLY CRAP! Why is this box so big and why does it weigh like 200 pounds? The 20 pound estimate is the biggest understatement I've ever heard of. Why would somebody put that down? Things less than half this size have higher estimates than that and weigh much less. :lol

Anyways, off to open it.

EDIT: Ok, so I finally opened it up put the dreads in. Had to tear off some of the styrofoam squares glued to the box to get the bust out, and those dreads were a real pain to unpack. If I ever have to sell this, I got two words for ya: local pickup.

Anyways, WOW this bust is HUGE and incredible! Don't get why some have a problem with the paintjob. It seems as good as it could be for what it is, IMO. I'll have pics up a little later!

Awesome collection man. Scylla prop is sweet!

my predalien should arrive early next week. the weight factor everyone keeps mentioning is definitely alarming. is this thing heavier than the hulk pf? has anyone been concerned with it tipping forwards? how well is the weight proportioned?

Thanks man! About the weight, I don't have the hulk pf to compare it to, but I'd guess the predalien weighs arpund 80 lbs with the dreads put in. Maybe less, maybe even more, but it sure is damn heavy. I don't have any worries about it tipping over when placed on a hard flat surface, however I did put mine down on a carpeted surface for a moment, and it did seem like the back of the base was lifted maybe a millimeter or so due to the heaviness of the head. But again, it should be fine on your typical counter, shelf, pedestal, or what have you.

SS Predalien 1:1, the paint job could be a bit more detailed but the overall size and presence of this piece is second to none. What a beast!

Yeah this thing is MASSIVE! It's the first piece I have ever had to move with two people. I don't suggest moving this with the dreads in it as well. As for front end heavy, its not too bad. I've tried to push it over and it takes a bit of work.

I think for those who were on the fence on this piece, are off it now. Those pics pretty much seal the deal.. This peice will be a grail..regardless of how much the movie sucked. The creatures in it were awseome!

damn! am i the only person that enjoyed this movie? sure it was kinda campy and stupid, but i thought it was entertaining and enjoyed it much more than the first AVP. and honestly, how many of the alien/predator movies were really that great to begin with (besides the first ones)? it's always been bout the creatures i think. JMO

oh, and my final payment is goin in today!! can't wait!!

I also enjoyed the movie...my only real complaint is how dark it is...man it is hard to make certain things out, even when its daytime and the humans are the only thing on screen!

Yeah, if you want to see anything in this movie, you have to set your TV to Best Buy settings (i.e. brightness turned way up!).
