Nice shots! Glad to see full shots with the younger ben sculpt.
While I don't care for the PT I do think that the Ewen Head sculpt is the best one. I think I feel that way because you can really see Alec in that Sculpt also. It's a perfect combination. The Other sculpt just basically looks like a bit younger Alec.

Saw my friend's statue tonight. Sculpt and paint were amazingly good. The obi heads and accessories make the statue!! Unfortunately, my pal and I agree the lean is stupid. It looks like there is an issue with base/ foot sculpt which is creating the lean. If he was standing closer to straight up, it would make a major difference in the appearance of the statue. The light saber is a bummer. He's pretty upset about it, but he is getting on a list for a saber for like $20. We both wondered why they couldn't just get it right????!!! Now the statue is costing him $20 more, even though he's getting some credit for a future purchase, but not to be applied to this statue!

Speaking of apology letter, I replied to it with the below letter:
"Thank you Mike for your email,
I'm currently out of town & didnt check out the statue yet. However, Im very happy to read emails like this which shows the transparency between Sideshow & its customers.
To be honest what really bothered me about this statue is not the mistake in the ES, it's the missing lightsaber hilt! This is a big disappointment for me & many other collectors, some owners actually went off to commission the hilt from private sculptor! What makes it worse is that the actual picture in the box is displaying the statue with the missing hilt. I wish that Sideshow corrected this & try to mitigate; I also wish we have clear explanation of this missing hilt & to avoid as possible last minuet surprises like this, this can really take the joy of many collectors! "
Got the following replay today! Hope they do something though it's highly doubtable at this point:

Sort of. You lose your reward points for orders you use the other codes on but this Obi credit you won't. Plus you can still use the other ones as well.
There is a $25 coupon code for March? I know there was a code for February but didn't see one for March. If there is one what is the code for March if you don't mind me asking?

The $25 code given out in outgoing orders in March is limited in nature (eg: There are certain products you will not be able to use it on). The $25 credit being extended to customers that already purchased the Ben Kenobi Mythos Statue can be used on any Pre-Order or In-Stock item through Sideshow's site.

This statue is epic. I hate using the term grail lightly. So I won't use it here. However, I believe, this second best SideShow piece I own behind only Punisher comiquette.

First time posting. I have been collecting for a little over a year now, I mostly collect 1/6 and exclusively Star Wars. I received my Obi Wan a few weeks ago and admittedly was dissapointed in the lack of lightsaber hilt, as it takes up less space with the open hand, but this is still one impressive piece. My only negative on this piece is the lack of weathering on the boots, the whole piece is weathered, his hands look dirty, yet his boots look like he just bought them at Tosche Station. The edition numbering is funny, I wonder if ours will be worth more as they contain the error.
I have the Vader Mythos on pre-order, hoping that one includes the hilt as I would display with helmet off.
I dont have a problem with the lean, it looks like he is fighting the wind. Overall love this piece, and If I had the space I would buy the Maul and Boba Fett.
I hope they get the paint correct on the Vader, that one looks difficult to achieve. The paint work is simply amazing, the glow from the lava looks lit up, and the glowing highlight on Vader's helmet look brilliant. Please Sideshow, Quality Control the Vader with the blast shield up, don't use the force!

they are having me do nothing with it that i know of yet..... looks like I get to keep it.
I got no instructions to send it back in the email response from the Returns Department, and it definately was not in the tracking information. But they might ask me to return it in the box that I get the Ewan head in. But as of now, I have not had any instructions as to what to do with it.
As you can see in the photos that I sent SS, there is a difference in the color of the beard. One is more grey than the other one. So now I have two variants of the Guinness head.
