you and me both. full retail, $80 for the bent over wrinkly dude and $150 for land strider. :monkey2:monkey2

Overall, I don't really mind. The Dark Crystal is the only property that I don't mind paying retail if it means the line will keep going. There's just not enough stuff out there...

Well, I'm off to the mall to try and find Chamberlain. Wish me luck!!!

Good Luck dude!!!
BTW did anybody knows what happened to the Mindstyle's Jen and Kira as well as Chamberlain?...

Ehh, no luck yet. I'll keep checking...

Nope, no word at all...

It looks like MINDStyle has updated their site, https://www.mindstyle.com, but their is no mention of the Henson property anymore anywhere on the site. :( I hope we still at least get the Castle...

Here are a couple shots of a custom base I made for the Chamberlain figure. I hope any future releases (if there are future releases) include a base.

That is awesome!! Great job!

I need to get my hands on this new figure (since Dark Crystal collectibles are few and far between).

Doctor! That looks amazing!!!
I was just checking out my World of Dark Crystal book

or something for the figures!!!

Holy moses! That's awesome!!! How did you make it, if I may ask..

Thanks for the compliments!

It was pretty easy to make the base. I had a wooden base/plaque from Hobby Lobby (cost about $1-2) laying around which I painted black. I tried to create a textured look but it was not really working, so I just went simple and black.

I found the Dark Crystal image on the web - https://members.tripod.com/m_roxburgh/froud/spiral-big.jpg

Using Photoshop, I just scaled it to fit the top of the wooden plaque and attached it with super glue.

That really raises the fig to the "next level". Good stuff man.:D

It is ball-jointed, so a nice range of motion. I counted seven points of articulation (neck, both shoulders, both elbows, both wrists.) I really like how they concealed the joints, especially at the elbows.

How is the neck articulation? Is it a cut or ball joint?

So simple, yet so effective. Nice work! I might just steal your idea or at least your concept. I'm thinking maybe a diorama...
