If you're happy with it, that's all that matters. The artist did a great job. I have three tattoos myself, all from properties that meant a lot to me growing up: G.I. Joe, Batman and Castlevania. I chose pieces that wouldn't be immediately recognizable unless you were familiar with them, and I personally think they work well as standalone pieces even to people not familiar with them.

In the end, it's your body and if you're happy, more power to ya.
