Hey i'm new here, and i've have only been around for about a week and a half. I thought a might aswell post some of my collection for you guys to look at, Its not huge but it still has the standard of collection

Im hoping to order some of my first hot toys figures in the next few weeks as well so i will keep you guys updated.

You should post this in the correct section and seriously get those pics in focus before posting.

Also Sideshow doesnt actually sell any McFarlane Toys - most people here are only really interested in 1/6 scale stuff when it comes to Alien/Pred figures or collectables that aren't so easily found in stores.

Ok, sorry i was just posting my collection. They are alien a predator related which should fit into the Alien and Robots section if i'm correct

Nice figures bro. Welcome aboard. If you don't own any HOT TOYS or SIDESHOW figures you really are missing out. The attention to detail on the HOT TOYS and SIDESHOW figs are amazing.One bad thing is they are like Lay's Potato chips , ONE IS NEVER ENOUGH. LOL See you around

Listen, I got into collecting with some of these same figures. You are off to a nice start and some of these are worth some money now. I'm getting ready to sell my McFarlane Predators. The Celtic Pred sold on eBay yesterday for around sixty dollars, the elder for $25.00 and the Scar Pred for around $45. The PRedator 2 "Hunter" that you have pictured sells for between $30 and $40.00. All of mine are in the packages and in very nice shape. I'm thinking about buying a HT Predator with the money. Anyway, welcome to the site fellow freak - it is a very interesting place as you have, no doubt, already discovered. As to the comment about the proper place to post: There is a section for pics of collections. Just scroll down to the bottom of the forum page and you will see it. The member that made the comment could have been far more civilized . . .

Ah thanks, i didn't realize there was actually a section in which you could post your collections in. Its amazing to see how much the 7inch figures go for now i have seen Celtic predators on retail websites for $80-$100! crazy stuff, i was lucky to get that queen alien when i did though. My dad found it in Singapore when he was on a business trip and bought it for me in 2006! they went rare about 2005 i think.

So is it possible for me to change this threads location or do i have to delete and make a new one? or can i even delete it

Hey my camera seems to be ^^^^ing up but i have been working on my custom predator and its looking pretty badass at teh moment. I will be posting a vid on the changes i have made to it.

Not a constructive comment at all...I started with the same figures, and then I moved onto 1/6th and finally at PF, make compliments and not insult someones collection for the items they have and that they don't have...wise up .

Nice collection Venom and I say you shall be moving into the world of 1/6th soon enough

I vowed not to collect 1/6 scale figures (sure I had a $12 Dragon Jackie Chan figure and a $15 Medicom old version Bruce Lee figure but that was it) but then someone sold me a Hot Toys Terminator Endoskeleton for $50 (person was so anal about a broken left middle finger that's why it was sold cheap) and then I was hooked! Damn stuff is like crack! You're introduced to it with a cheap price and then you have to have your fix!

Anyways, that finger was easily repaired with a watch screw (that's all!). After that, I got Arnold T-800 and Sarah Connor. The collection is growing with some other 12" figures also.

My collection started with McFarlane figures. Species Sil and Patrick, Alien, Aliens, Alien3, A:R, and AVP. They were all cheap on closeout places like SmallBluePlanet (where I got most of my cheap Aliens and Predators. Too bad the store is no more.). I never got a McFarlane Queen because the Kaiyodo Queen model that I have is the same size (of course, now there are recasts from Thailand but I had the original).

I ball jointed my Predator 2 figure's arms. After I paint it, I'll show some pics. The joints come from a leftover ML Spider-man figure.

Sorry guys but it really wasnt the collection I had the problem with(I have a McFarlane collection myself) - it was more the out of focus pics which have since been removed.
