Gamestop online sucks. They shipped the collectors edition and the game from 2 separate warehouses. The ce is going to be here on the 9th and the game is going to be here on the 14th, im so pissed off. I should have just ordered it at the store, i wouldnt have gotten porked like this.

click on the video at the top for this game....they need to show a different clip because this clip has so many things that makes the game look bad. Maybe it's just a simulator part of the game for training or something.

IM liking it so far. Like the combat, trying to get better at it so it looks better. It looks a but goofy when you first start. Also really disappointed in the graphics. They should have put more detail in the animations and smaller things like reflection and her feet. Overall the running is still awesome and th sotry is muddled but but I'm still looking forward to hopefully cool setpieces and visually different levels. Oh and Ive only played a couple hours and I'm 45% done the story wtf

The first one was really short as well, so I didn't expect this to have a 10 hour long campaign or anything. Still a little disappointing to hear.

Not sure if anyone else got the collectors edition, but all i have to say is its the best one ive seen. I am unbelievably happy with it. Unfortunately i have things to do and cant play the game right away but here are some pics.

The statue has really good paint but not excellent. What i mean is the skin tones are definitely a little plasticy but overall the paint apps on everything else came out pretty damn good.

Really liking the game so far, i think i got about 6 hours in of just playing around. Ive been collecting stuff and getting used to the mechanics and fighting system. I upgraded faith so she could do all her traditional moves from the first game, imo the errors and dead ends are much less in this one. I dont get frustrated from getting robbed of a nice freerun string. The fighting is way better if you choose to do it, i dont mind not being able to snatch weapons either. Hopefully when i 100% the game and collect everything the online is good too, in the last game i loved trying to 3* all the courses.

Worth the wait imo, not disappointed here.

the only reason I leave runner vision on for now is because If I don't I just keep running into dead ends. Also when keeping runner vision on it will take you through the same exact paths over and over which is really frustrating.

Its supposed to, it was the same on the last game practically from what i remember. Ive beaten the first one so many times with runner vision off i stopped counting. You have to learn the area and figure out your own quicker paths, runner vision just does the bare minimum. Just like the last game there will be hidden, drastically shorter paths to take.

There's no steel book edition is there? I'm a steel book junkie. It bugs me when they make then only available for these big limited edition versions.

Should I wait for this to drop in price or jump in now? These reviews got me worried

I'm about half way through but the combat is straight up shallow. The guards will basically kill themselves for you. I guess the most difficulty comes from being good with directions and timing with running. Although I still thinks its great fun, getting single kick downs feels awesome.

Damn I hate all the sub bar reviews of this game. I was really hoping they could jump start Mirrors Edge again into a franchise with this one. Guess its over and out or they go back and try a third time.
