Is it possible for Sideshow to resurrect another companies dead sculpt?

(Specifically talking about the First4Figures Baroness/Ravage statue)

I totally forgot about this specific piece, but when it was canceled back in '08 I tried asking the Sideshow Q&A this same question, which unsurprisingly got no response.

But what does the community here know? Is it ever possible to just directly steal a pose or direct sculpt from another companies failed attempt? Has it ever happened before?

I doubt it. It seems like it would be too much of a hassle for SS, plus they take pride in being "original". Just my thoughts though.

Why would they want too? Its not like that is a spectacular sculpt to begin with. So while it may be possible, it wont happen.
