Just got my Doomsday vs Superman statue in the mail today (huge box)... Unfortunately the top part of the cape arrived broken :( Also one of the girders on the base had it's tip broken but I can glue that back on as it won't be noticeable. Everything else arrived in mint condition.... I do have one issue with Superman's foot fitting into the slot on the base, it won't go in all the way, I'll have to figure that one out....

The only thing plastic on this statue is the girders you add to the base, everything else is polystone... Although Superman's head is ultra light so I'm not sure if it's polystone or plastic..

Waiting to hear back from my contact to see if he can get an extra cape out of Iron Studios... If not I'll have to ship the cape off to someone like Spazzy to fix it..

EDIT: Got Supermans foot to go into the base, you need someone to hold Superman in place while you put Doomsday on the base because Superman needs to lean against Doomsday to keep his foot in the socket of the base... I guess this is to insure that there's no gap between doomsday and Superman's hand (which is attached to Doomsday body)

EDIT 2: Ok I check out the cape and it was a clean break, when I push the pieces together you can't even see the break it's all smooth, so if I don't get a replacement I'll try using that roll on glue for statues, I think I can do it so you can't even see the break.

Other than those issues this statue is BADASS, it's looks freaking awesome and has major presence on my shelf... Soon as I get it all together I'll take some pictures...

^^^ Congrats!! hopefully the cape comes out ok, look forward to seeing the pics.

I don't have a high-end camera so the pictures are not the best.... That said I really like this statue, it's just stands out big time on the shelf... And if anyone is wondering it's pretty heavy....

Just sharing a couple pics of a portrait repaint by Kevin (aka Darkspidey). Simply amazing job.

With time, Kevin will repaint this entire thing, but portrait teaser is all there is for now. Enjoy...

Now I'm someone who usually prefers the use of resin for headsculpts no matter what, but that repaint is downright impressive.

If it had come like that it would've been more popular.

The repaint is an excellent job.... That said I have no issues with the original as it was done very nicely also.... This is one of my favorite pieces I have in my shelves atm... it just looks so damn cool in person :)
