I'm so torn, if the mk 7 flying feature is awesome, I'm going to have to get it. But if it isn't, or if it's 1 foot on the ground, I'm getting the mk3

VII would be my bet.

It's from the most recent film and has direct competition from XM coming shortly.

Been reading Igo in the 'other' place...

Yah, flying poses are THE WORST to make actually work without looking too weird… this was actually my design (pose and general concept) that I worked up in ZBrush, but getting him to suspend just right without looking lame is THE WORST… still not done with the design yet.

Gotta agree there that it will most likely be the Mark II which actually looks like it could be a statue in development. The concept design for the Mark VII looked off model a bit. I think the eyes were to big. So if the design isn't quite right that means he probably isn't even in the sculpting or 3D print stage yet.

They could go for the wallet and just make two versions, one clean and one BD. We always get repaints from the same statue, so why not some alternate BD option.

I'd be fine with that. I'd even be fine if it was minor battle damage.
