How to tighten ball joints?

Hi, I have a predalien figure which I just got and the legs are just way to loose at the hips

Does anyone know any methods of tightening loose ball joints? All I could find in google was to use nail polish on both joint surfaces. Is this really any good? Are there any other options? Thanks.

use clear nail varnish it works wonders.

Put a coat on let it dry and then your good to go. If it's still a bit loose then repeat the process

I successfully tightened a sideshow stormtrooper body by adding some glues over the joint and ball joint areas. After the glues dry, you should find the joints are tighter than before. But beware not to superglue. I used Elmer's Glue-all for it.

Do I apply to both joint surfaces or just the ball part?

I've only done it on the ball joint. Put a coat on let it dry and see how tight it is, if it needs another coat then put one on
