How to paint / dye pants?

Hello everyone,

I want to dye my soldier story multicam pants for my Hot Toys Bane figure. Has anyone some tips for me what kind off paint can be used?

Fabric paint from a craft or art store will be the best if you want to keep the feel of the cloth. If you don't mind it getting a little stiff the Liquitex acrylic works really well. I see it for everything, it needs no fabric medium or setting.
