How does backorder work?

Hey everyone. I got an item backordered and it's stated to be shipped around July. So will I get an early notice like PO items or just be charged right off? Sorry idk how backorder works

For what it's worth, my Rex backorder billed and shipped without any notice like a preorder.

I was reading a little about this and they basically just send it to you they warn to be ready for a random credit card charge so keep your G.A.M.E. tight to prepared when they yank the chips
