Sounds ridiculous :lol
Exactly, I felt

And coming from Ahnuld himself, no punk clothes :(
Bye bye Tech Noir 2.0 I guess...

Exactly. I felt that this was on topic info for speculation about what figures/outfits we may see.

Yep, another naked T-800 fight which we pretty much saw in the last film. Would have been so much cooler if they'd allowed him to get his Tech Noir clothes.

That would be awesome! Isn't there someone on this world that looks exactly like Arnold or close enough for those 84 scenes in stead of those CGI parts that are so short because of the difficulty etc..

so Arnold's white hair is explained now. Since his metal arm is exposed and can't time travel. Sarah and Reese go forward in the make shift time displacement equipment and he just waits to meet up with them when they arrive in the future. Remember... "Something about a field generator by living tissue" "Why?" "I Didn't build the ****ing thing"

- detatch the arm and put it in a bank storage
- sеw the wound, hiding metal parts
- go forward in time, collect the arm and attach it back

They made things more difficult than they had to be by stopping the original T-800 from getting his clothes. Careful framing of shots so you don't see male genitalia bouncing around etc - more limiting. Shoulda let him get his clothes, woulda been a more fun watch.

Hah! Excellent idea.

Since they are using the "needing to be covered in flesh/living field to time travel" as a plot point, I wonder if they will explicitly state how the T-1000 and the like are able to time travel.

If they do, I wonder if they will use the "Mimetic poly-alloy generates a living field simile" explanation, or that they come wrapped in a flesh cocoon that burns off during time travel. Or they could just say that the time Displacement Equipment in the future war era is sufficiently advanced to send certain non-living entities back or forward in time.

the material that can mimic any other material mimics living tissue which generates that field, that is all.

You know, I was trying to avoid too much information about the movie so I wouldn't go into it with a lot of negativity. I didn't realize that Kyle and Sarah time travel but it makes sense since the trailer showed scenes from present day. Point being, for those who were speculating that Hot Toys would release a Courtney 84 Kyle, then we might only need a really good Biehn headsculpt, that's not going to happen. If we get Kyle, he's going to be modern day decked out in some urban commando gear with lots of big guns. They're not going to give us trench coat, sneakers and pants. Not sure he even gets time to get the shirt and shotgun if Sarah rescues him in the department store.

Let me preface this post by saying that I like many here, am a long time 'T' / Arnold fan - for 30+ years in fact. However unlike SW (which is my precious :lol), in that I refuse to read anything that will ruin my anticipation for EPVII, this new T-moofy looks like a completely missed opportunity to right a lot of the wrongs that have befallen the 'franchise' since the early 2000s.

Any news regarding T-G:zuss now, is irrelevant to my enjoyment or lack thereof, purely because I am going to watch it anyway, & it is what it is. We've known for ages now, that this is going to be a mix of convolution, a completely sacrilegious passing of the baton from bad to worse hands as it were, & one last muscle bound one liner drenched hurrah for Arnold.

If we get a nice new HT die-cast Endo out of this - gravy.

We may get a die-cast endo out of this, but it will be a Genisys endo, and then probably not a very accurate one based on HT's past performance. Was just hoping to get something out of this movie that would harken back to the good old days, when Terminators terminated people. Seems like nothing here is going to get us an 84 Reese or a Tech Noir 2.0. If this turns out to be a movie that I won't watch after the initial viewing like T3 and T4, then give me some figures that I'll at least enjoy.

Another crack.............that makes me want to cry. Maybe can't blame them for the 1/6. They were a fledgling company, but they didn't even try with the 1/4 scale. What's another crack going to do?

I know I say it every time and I just can't seem to help myself once again - we'll never get a T1 endo from Hot Toys, even if they call it that. It'll be a generic mix of a T2 endo and some made-up Sideshow kit - fully accurate to nothing. They don't care that the T1 endo had differences, even if they know.

Hmmmm...

Hot Toys sculpts a T5 Endo.

However, it is not accurate and looks nothing like a T5 Endo.

Looks like a T1 Endo...

Profit?

It's just crazy enough to work! :rotfl

Aside from not nailing every headsculpt, where else has HT been so blatantly disrespectful to the accuracy of a figure? Maybe the soon to be released Darth Vader. Oh woe is me.....why did it have to be the one I most want? I've always considered my holy grail of models to be the Scoop T1 endo and even that was far from perfect. But it was a T1 endo.

Though actually I think they'll nail the T:Genisys Endo. The goofiness of that thing is right up HT's street.

''Big Chap'' Alien, Warrior Alien and Dog Alien - they went for nothing more than a basic general resemblance with those. ***** shaped head, a tail, things coming out of the back, oh it's an Alien.

when you see me walking across naked to those punks and say "Give me your clothes,"... now the scene changes. As I (the young Arnold) say "Give me your clothes," suddenly you hear a voice behind me say "You won't need them."

Wait, so instead of Pops happening upon the 84 Terminator right as he appeared when he was naked they're going out of their way to stage their encounter to take place just a few seconds before the moment he did get clothes? So they literally could have just as easily had two clothed Terminators fighting but thought they'd "tee hee hee" their way out of it with dialogue that sounds straight out of a porno?

"Give me your clothes."

"You won't need them, I've been waiting for you."
