Which is ironic considering Mark Hamill asked for the nose guard on the visor specifically so that wouldn’t happen to him.

Maybe the tiny counterpart on the Hot Toys visor will help?

What modifications did you have to do?

Sorry for the late reply. I not only carved down the inside of the head but also the hair as well. Kept going until I could get the hair seated lower on his head so it would not look like a giant egg. I think it turned out as good as could be expected. Here are some comparison photos to show how extensive the mods were.

As you can see the shape of the connection on the Jedi head is different from the ANH head. Different angle and shape. I had to try and match that to get the hair to fit. The back of the modified head is flared out a bit because I popped the connector out and it stretched the back of the head out but can easily be pushed back in when the hair goes on.

It’s a very subtle change but I think improves the sculpt and the hair.

I might want to remove the fatsuit for this one. Is it simple enough like undressing the figure and dressing it back or is there some sewing that needs to be torn down?
