Very interested in this one, waiting to see the regular death trooper (not specialist) release. I think I would prefer the sleek armour design more without the shoulder pauldron and satchel getting in the way. Plus there's the cool view finder thing on the helmet.

Awesome base BugZ !! Love the look of the dark earth & green undergrowth like on the planet shown in the pictures we have seen so far.

I'm also thinking I'll make my own base for the Deathtrooper as I don't like the HT base at all.

The bases are the same style as the OT figures. I thought that the top part with the pic of the trooper was painted but it's just a card stock overlay. The base itself looks like the floor of whatever base/ship we see these guys on.

Really, OK then that's good. The picture looked a bit cheap or I dunno....not my style. Anyway now that I've entertained the thought of doing my own custom base I think I'll keep going in that direction. Bugz just gave me a bit more inspiration.

Yep agree. Looking pretty damn fine !!

Don't know about those slipper shoes though. Maybe they look different in hand ? They do look different though. May need to scuff up the toes a bit to get that shine away. These are Special Ops troops. They don't need shiny shoes.
