My Spacetrooper arrived today and I love this guy. This is a fantastic variant and I'm seriously considering a second. The only complaint I have is my stand is really loose. It doesn't snap in like the other stands.
I think I remember someone saying their ankles were looser on this figure than their regular Stormtrooper? Mine are as tight as the regular versions. Did someone also say their side flaps were stiffer too? Mine are the same as my regular troopers.
Anyway, pics.
The bubble lens turned out great.
I didn't want to display him alone so I broke out the single trooper I still had boxed (he's for Vader).

I'm in the loose ankle club. I have to use the gun as a stand for avoiding the guy dropping like a SSC one.

Ankles are a bit looser than regular stormies but nothing that prevent him to be posed stand free
Only thing that really bothers me on that HT storm design is the gap at the ankle between shim armor and boot.

Thinking the same thing. can use the black pauldron on the shadow trooper. Got one of those as well cause of battlefront.

After thinking it over I really am leaning toward sending mine back. There's just so much great stuff coming and to ME the most iconic line-up of SW figures anyone could ever have is this group:
That first wave of 1979 large scale figures has just been imprinted on my soul ever since they were released and now with Sideshow and Hot Toys we can have them represented in truly kickass form. Not sure a Spacetrooper really fits in with them.

As to the ankle club, my trooper's right ankle is stiff as a board, his left ankle is loose. But if you shove the shin armor all the way down over the foot it holds tight.

For those that have both the standard and space trooper, is there a difference in the armor color? The standard trooper appears to be a warmer white.
