For those interested in whats inside the vest...and helmet.

I didn't actually crack the helmet open...it was poorly glued and just came apart when tilting the head:)

Thanks for posting. I bought a extra helmet to repaint to match my ROTJ Fett. I figured I would only need to repaint the green areas and add back the silver paint for the dent and weathering effect as well as repaint the ear piece sides of the helmet silver. My plan was to tape the areas I wanted to leave untouched. This will make that easier if I can pry it open.... I'll try heating it first.

Can't remember who it was, but someone mentioned about using the gray wrist pegs from the SS Fett, and how they had to cut the older & larger peg's down and file a bit.
I just realized today that the Dengar wrist pegs are a pretty decent match and don't require any modifications. I mean, it's a really pale tannish color, so not light gray..but certainly a hell of a lot better than the black wrist pegs.

I’m thinking of going with the HT body for the Pre Pro and my Sideshow V2 for the ESB look.

Might go with all sideshow for ESB (gauntlets, jet pack, gloves, rifle).

Hi Matrix, useful comparison I was about to post the same thing between sideshow and HT. What doesn’t really come across in pics is how much darker and larger the HT ones are. WHilst the detailing is crisper and they feel more robust, I think I might go back to the sideshow ones on my figure as they look and fit better...

Here’s a comparison of the EE3 rifles. In all pics the top one is HT, lower one is sideshow v1.

Two things to note - my sideshow Blaster has a broken trigger, and I’ve already modded the sling on the hot toys one as they inexplicably made it an adjustable one.

Hot toys rifle is overall more accurate in its geometry I think. It’s tighter detailing, the MPP has proper holes through it instead of depressions on the sideshow, the 4 connectors on the scope mounts are much more accurate and the stock looks much closer in shape to the real deal than the sideshow, Paint wise they made a few strange decisions. The main colour is great, it’s a slightly glossier Black than the sideshow. The MPP tip is a naff looking drybrushed grey, instead of shiny like the prop, and they didn’t do the brass handle, instead it’s the same colour as the rest of the rifle.

Hope you find the pics useful. Overall I’m gonna switch to the HT for the rifle :)

Comparison of the sidearms - Sudeshow V1 vs. HT.

In all pics Hot Toys is the top, Sideshow V1 is below.

this one is a no brainier, the HT is superior because it looks like the real speargun prop. The Sideshow one doesn’t. The holster is more accurate too, it’s actual rubber and has a reproduction of the original Nimrod logo. Only negative mark is the strap to hold the gun in. It is fixed on the HT, whilst on the sideshow it is functional with a tiny magnet.

I’ll be switching to HT for this one.

I’d be up for using the left gauntlet - you’re right, the sizing isn’t as bad as the right gauntlet. However the colours are so different, and I’m not a painter so won’t be repainting it. Boo.

I just realised the HT strap can be undone and the gun properly holstered - way better :)
