Yeah, what I’m saying is that I doubt they will recast an old Luke or Han or even remake the OT. If they ever do I’ll probably be too old to care. But the DCU on the other hand cycles their actors every few years. In the pass 30 years we’ve had 5 Batmen and a couple of different Supermen. How many Lukes have we had? I know we got a young Han Solo movie coming and hopefully a few Luke movies that take place between VI and VII but recast old Hamill and Ford, not likely.

It's Hollywood. All they seemingly have the capacity to do now are remakes of timeless classics. Which is why outside of Star Wars, DCEU and MCU, I really don't bother with them anymore or go to the movies.

I recall reading a year or two ago (not sure where) that a remake of the OT has already been floated. Same with BttF.

Yeah, I think the fact that it was called a "gift" and not part of the package means it wasn't factored into the price. So he feels no need to offer a partial refund or to cancel orders. I'm fine without the cowl as well.

I don't see it on the site anymore so they definitely filled their pre-orders.

Hi guys, as I said I'm a bit late to the party but what's the deal with the Eleven sculpt ? Do you need the cover at the base of the neck (like photo below) or not ?

What are most people ordering ? Is version 2.0 different, or just a better sculpt ?

I ordered mine from OSK. It’s the 2.0 version. Though now it does not come with the bat cowl because of copywrite laws it still comes with the collar and cape.

So I made a custom pleather cape. I purchased the material from Joanne Fabric. Unfortunately, one side is pleather, and the other is more of a felt material, which is visible from the back.

Still a work in progress, and have lots of futzing to do, but it’s a start:

is it necessary to order the cape and collar piece on osk to build an unmasked Batman? Both of mine are far away at my parents and i never opened them, so I'm not sure how the cowl collar functions.

Thanks! The cape itself is actually a thin material. In the pictures it looks a touch thicker. But I’m using this cape as a chance to weather and see how it looks (trial and error). I’m waiting for Joann fabric to get another pleather material in, it’s a little more textured and accurate to the BVS cape material.

Got the Ben 2.0 sculpt and am really impressed with it. Sucks they couldn't give us the empty cowl but worth it nonetheless.

i have it too. Previously, I b bought a 3rd party cowl and cape. I will be cutting that and using it as empty cowl.
