EG I’ve been avoiding for nearly 2 months, but that movie is going to have moments of deep emotional impact and I want to feel them at their fullest, where Godzilla has never been about anything like that, just the spectacle of man and monsters vs each other, so no amount of ads beforehand can ruin seeing the movie in sequence and entirety.

Bingo!

Saw Hellboy in imax tonight and they included the Godzilla monster special and whew boy does that look amazing! That snippet alone was better than all of Hellboy:lol

I was looking forward to it before but now I’m pumped. Kong vs Godzilla might be a letdown after this!

Your Kong prediction is 100% accurate.

Of course, this is King Ghidorah!

Kong's just a chump-anzee.

Kong's gonna need to add some pizzazz now. Maybe if it has Gigan AND Hedorah.

Bingo!

Jet Jaguar and King Ceaser lol

I have a feeling Kong vs Godzilla is not going to be as straight forward as the original film, and may very well be something more along the lines of Destroy All Monsters and Captain America Civil War. I don't really expect just Kong and Godzilla going at it, but a much larger monster mash where it just happens that a conflict between them is at the heart of it all, much like the foundation of Civil War was Cap and Iron Man's conflict.

It’s a dumb idea no matter what but yes it’s possible KG lives on to fight another day because no matter what you just know Godzilla and Kong are going to team up against some other baddie because lets face it Godzilla and Kong are not allowed to be villains anymore one is not allowed to kill the other because sequels yo.

I know Legendary would like to continue past G vs K, but it will all depend on the box office for the next two. I hope that GvsK does not end in a way that is about setting up the future if it doesn't happen, I hope it's an ending where if we never get another MonsterVerse film, it works, and if we get more, it works.

I don't know how they would even have Kong fight Godzilla in this film universe and stand any sort of chance.

It'd be like a toddler trying to fight a sumo wrestler.

They have to make him grow more. But even so it’s a giant monkey vs a indestructible dinosaur that brushes off nukes.

They have already addressed this. Kong is growing. The last one we saw, was a juvenile, they show his parents Skulls during on scene. They died young as well.

th

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....

How much more could he possibly grow?

He's 100ft in Skull Island compared to Godzilla at 350ft in King of the monsters and the adult skeletons weren't that much bigger than him.

They'll have to work in some kinda plot line that he gets super powered or something.

Not really feeling this one but it’s something new, also something coming with this weekend’s Game of Thrones.

Maul can you imagine End Game and this just 1 freaking month apart!

Remember when this was announced it felt like it was an eternity away and yet here we are just a month away from it.

If both movies deliver the goods 2019 is going to be quite a special year.

They announced sequels at SDCC 2014, so it's been a long road, even though we had Kong in the middle, it wasn't a movie featuring Godzilla too. I didn't expect Rodan, Mothra and Ghidorah in this movie though, I expected Ghidorah would be saved as a "boss" villain for GvsK, so to get all this up front is a wonderful surprise and the handling of it so far has really wowed me.

The composer recently did a video and stated that the Godzilla theme will not just be a cameo in the score but a significant part, as he feels it's as much a part of the character like the Darth Vader theme or the JAWS theme, so I really can't wait for the soundtrack to release.

Originally this movie was supposed to come out in March, before End Game, I'm actually really happy with how it turned out, I have a feeling that, as satisfying as End Game will be, there's going to be a sense of sadness after, Godzilla should serve as the perfect cinematic pick me up.

Then in the fall I get another Rambo, I get Sly's old and all, but all time favorite character, so any new film pique's my interest, and then we'll see in December if Rise of Skywalker can deliver a solid end to a rocky trilogy and the Skywalker saga.

Yeah... Godzilla, MCU, Rambo, and Star Wars all in the same year.. If I went back and told my 13 year old self this was going on I am pretty sure my 13 year old head would explode..

We are an Indiana Jones film away from a perfect release year :lol

Even though the number of movies is different, the quality may top 2008 for me, which is currently my all time best year for movies.

- Rambo 4
- Iron Man
- The Dark Knight
- The X-Files
- The Incredible Hulk

While the X-Files wasn't the best movie overall, it was just exciting because it'd been years since an X-Files story so I really enjoyed them being back, but the others are some of my most favorite movies.

Godzilla and End Game alone may be more overall satisfying than all 5 of those.

The only part that sucks is I don't know when I'll get to see End Game yet, not opening weekend, every showing at every theater around me is sold out through the whole weekend.
