I would love to have the 4-foot Masterpiece Kawakita Godzilla that's listed on Cinemaquette's site, but it's $2,800.

Hopefully the Biollantes paint job is as good as the sculpt. I'm rather disappointed with the Hedorah paint job... Hes rather dull looking.

I'm thinking about getting into X-Plus stuff for some higher-end detail pieces. Are they worth the price, or should I just stick to Bandai vinyls?

I love Godzilla/kaiju stuff, but I want to focus my collection a bit.

Anyone have any of the Matango vinyls they're willing to sell? I need to get some of those. So odd looking but so alluring as well I'm hoping to get some at G-Fest this year - anyone else go to G-Fests?

Cool, a Godzilla thread on the Freaks board. How have I missed this.

I just recently scored the M-1 BioGoji 1:1 costume replica head from eBay. I had this kit once before and built it, but I sold it when I needed money before ever painting it. This time I painted it right away. I'm just waiting on a display case before I gray up the skin, but the mouth and eyes are painted.

I didn't use the pre-printed eyes and lenses. I decided to paint my own on the sculpted eyes to look like they did in '93.

I'm seriously back into Godzilla and Gamera stuff right now. I'm trying to find any of the M-1 prop replica Gamera pieces from '95 and '96, especially the full body '96, and the flying '95 shell.

Anybody got any leads? PM me, please.

Looking at those behemoths made want to get my 1:1 (suit scale) BioGozi bust out of storage. Now where do I put this beast?

I was too lazy to do an image search. The multiple layers of teeth should have been enough to know that is a recent incarnation.

No big deal. I'm a lifelong Godzilla fan, so I can usually identify most Godzilla costumes by sight. I even love the 70s goofy Godzilla.

I had that thing from the orignal Kaiyodo run. The thing is a piece of furniture. I had to sell it off after building it up because it was so damn big. It was a pain just to get through a doorway.

I even love the 70s goofy Godzilla.

No offense, but I absolutely hate those Godzillas I can't believe the '54 Godzilla devolved into that horrible cartoony crap, and yet it managed to reinvent itself back into something cool again in 1984. I did grow up with 70's Godzilla, but wasn't really a fan until I discovered Godzilla of the 90's only after the crappy '98 American version.

I sure hope Legend's Godzilla 2012 is good.

Fingers crossed for the upcoming G flick.
Not so thrilled that it's in 3D but I like that Gareth Edwards is as much of a fan as all of us.

I think he'll finally get it right....unlike that Roland Emmerich disaster.
